I don't drink coffee and only really jumped onto energy drinks 3-4 years ago.

Musashi, Ghost and Monster are my go to brands.

Try to stick to 1 x 500ml a day, sometimes will have a smaller can after lunch as well.

Easily the best going around and now Woolworths are selling them for half the price 7/11 does.

The two for $8 at 7/11 was a decent deal, but woolies will have them on sale from time to time below $3.50.

The ezymarts in most CBD's in each AUS state sell the US version which have 200mg of caffeine, worth $8 on the odd occasion.

You just know there's Seppos out there crushing 2 or more cans of that per day waiting for their heart to explode.

A day? Try an hour.

I can't stand energy drinks. Way too sweet.
A lot of them are.

I liked the low sugar Shine drinks not sure if they make them any more.. The only ones I like atm are the Coconut and Grape zero sugar red bull. V have a Refresh brand with very low sweetness

I tried this V and I think it was this one but very good. The Cotton candy one was horrendously overpowered.

I don't see these in the stores or servos anymore but really good and low sweetness

I try to wait an hour and have water first, but having your first coffee at lunch time is just silly. At that point why bother?

I think the point is if you have a coffee straight away you'll need another one 4-5 hours later anyway.

If you can wait to have a coffee then you get the maximum hit and you won't need another one.

Have tried it at work 4 hours into my shift and I usually don't need caffeine for the rest of the time I'm awake.

It seems Mother are the only ones left that don't really provide no sugar flavours.
Red Bull

Im not having an energy drink until next niggt shift

What about those who drink coffee because they enjoy drinking coffee and not for the caffeine hit?

This is just a Google AI overview (via ABC news) but I have heard this before:

"Waiting 60–120 minutes after waking to drink coffee optimizes energy levels by allowing natural cortisol to rise and fall, preventing "jitters" and mid-morning crashes. Consuming caffeine immediately can interfere with hydration, increase anxiety, and cause acidity-related digestive issues. Rehydrate with water first to support natural, sustained alertness."

I try to do this, but if I am just working normal hours and get through to lunch time not having had a coffee (lol that only happens if I run out of milk or beans) then I will just power through.

Musashi has a 40% online sale of energy drinks, will be discounted in the supermarkets too. You can get them $2.26 per can online at chemist warehouse.
