This year a terrible year for the bottom 6 players on any list. There will be a heap of potential AFL talent next year in these delisted guys + those not drafted this year but late developers.

Watching a couple of 13v13 scratch matches this year you couldn’t help but think if anything was being gained.
The only players who got some value were the mids but even their games were compromised by sometimes having opponents playing alongside you and lack of numbers making it impossible to carry out zonal roles in offence and defense
Can see clubs keeping maybe 1 spot open to re-rookie players but until list sizes are determined there will be some nervous waiting

Agree. He was the youngest player in his draft year (still only 19) and it sounded like he had a decent VFL season last year. Seemed to have no probs finding the ball at VFL level.

Which is generally a very strong sign , lord knows how many duds we used to select that failed to find the footy even at vfl

That's good.
However what I've read on hear turner is the next big thing. English gets leather poisoning every week.

He was ordinary , looked better in his game or two last year , he’s got talent , wouldn’t give up on him just yet

Turner would have been a credible replacement for Houli when he eventually retires. With Markov moving on, not sure how that role gets filled.
