Yes they did, and it will not happen this time. 2 or 3 survivals in the last few years, and well, it has to catch up with them somewhere!

Sunderland away kit so putrid, I can hardly watch! Someone at SAFC needs to lose their job, signing off on that crap!

Cant see any reason we couldn't wear the home kit, to be honest.

With 2 games to go in the relegation fight the unlikeliest outcome was that Newcastle United would get any points from their game against Tottenham. They saved their best for last, beating the second-placed team 5-1 but they had already been consigned to relegation when Sunderland beat Everton 3 days earlier.
