fev was on the market & nobody but richmond were intrestd
at 25 & without as much trouble as he has had in the last 2 years
you must be deluded to think that other clubs will give up a 1st round pick in a very strong draft year for a troubled ff that has proven he cant be contrlled........ what makes you think that he is more valuble to other teams than he is to his own team carlton late 2nd rounder at best in a strong draft would be a huge win for carlton. p.s fev will be 28 by the time he plays next year

hopefully when he hits just over 30 thats when he will retire before carlton sack him

carlton tried to ofload fev 2 years ago and couldnt get a first round pick .the only team that was intersted was richmond (thank god it didnt happen) 2nd rounder at best. you wont get 1st round draft pick for a troubled 28 yo ff that only plays 1 position.
he will mostlikely go to yhe bulldogs they are the only team that will be desperate for a ff and could pay more than fevs market value imo

sorry to say you are mistaken there the deal fell through because carlton wanted pick 8 i think it was and richmond offered a 2nd round pick
fev was willing to go, i remember clearly.
even though i hang sh!t on him richmond would of been better off if we did give up the 1st round pick (jon)

I am so surprised how many people here are making excuses for him, it completely astounds me.

No the press was clear at the time - Pick 8 and Pettifer. Fevola said no apparently. Have no idea if the press was correct but that was reported at the time.

They couldn't afford him and wanted us to pay part of his salary. We said forget it.

If Fev doesn't kick 70+ goals this year, he will be traded.

It wouldn't surprise me if we trade him to West Coast for Kennedy.
