yeah I suppose he is going alright. I think he is a bloody good player as well and it would have been disappointing if he was traded at the season-end.crazy_big_al said:
the first time I saw him play live was a few years ago when we played collingwood at the g, and I remember thinking that he was the best player on the ground that day. he probably would have only been 19 or so at the time and he played on a wing and killed them. his game has probably changed a little since then in that he is more heavier and plays more of a defensive role.
I happen to think that he is probably better suited to a wing than a half back flank - what do you's think??

Personally don't believe he has the aerobic capacity of leg speed to play off a wing.
He has great hands and can be an excellent kick when he has time to steady. Both those factors make me believe he is best as a flanker.

Like phat i agree that enright doesn't have the leg speed to play of the wing. Also we have plenty of other suitable options to play there.
Playing on the half back flank allows enright to use his main asset which is his reading of the play. This combined with his marking and drive from the half back line he will be a valuable player.

To me there are times when Enright looks liek he cant be bothered trying to go for the ball when he is on the feild. Im not sure if its coz he getsd tired quickly or what, but i haf seen it a few times

He's not a winger, he's actually too strong, guys like McLeod would run rings around him. I could see him as a perfect RR though.

Enright doesn't have the fitness to play anywhere in the midfield on a regular basis, thus why he has been used in the backline for the past two years.
Injuries haven't helped but he does carry a bit of excess.

I think he'll continue to be a good player for us. He was primed for a big year if it wasn't for constant injuries. A good, long kick who players the sweeper half-back flank well.
I think that is probably his niche, something he can mould into his own position.
