a few things.

I've never really watched the show but always watched it when there was nothing else on TV (on Arena) and enjoyed it. so I would've missed most of the storylines from 1-3 and alot of the episodes.
I have seen quite a few episodes from the third season though and have read up on the show on its first three seasons.

so the plot I understand + the chacacters and all that.

which brings me to my point, having recently started dl'ing torrents (see - californication) I've also seen most of the episodes of Season 4 and really enjoyed the show. (will probably buy seasons 1 and 2 when I can be bothered)

not being in any way disrespectful to the character of Ari Gold but why exactly is he more popular than Johnny Drama? (from what I've gathered)

I'm not a person who lol's and any admission of humour is usually in my mind but the guy even gets chuckles out of me. very, very funny. and very, very well played.

not every episode of the show I've seen has been a hit but many have been. it's progressive and new age. which is much of its appeal.

much more to say. but that's it for now.

only eps I haven't seen from Season 4 are 6 and 8. (I think)

I also haven't watched them in any order.

ie; the Anna Faris episodes.

the third one first, second one second and first one third. sort of ruined the mini-storyline a little bit but the episodes were still good enough as stand-alones.

I think a lot of people don't "get" Johny Drama. I'll admit it took me a while to warm to his character. As for Ari, I think people just really like his foul, gay insulting demeanor.

Your not being direspectful as late Season 3 and Season 4 Drama has come on as a character and is now up with Gold. In fact season 4 I would say Drama has had the best lines and stories in the whole season.

In season 1 and 2 Ari Gold was just so brilliantly written and portrayed he built the cult behind him and it is derserved.

Was easily the worst season so far, enjoyed some of it though. Billy Walsh is the worst "main" character ever.

Don't agree with that at all. Billy Walsh is a ****ing legend. (and I'm never wrong)

As I say, I haven't seen much of the first three seasons but does 'E' actually have a purpose? (besides annoying everyone)

And as much as I like Adrian Grenier his character is irrelevant compared to the likes of 'Turtle', Drama, Ari and even Lloyd.

They make the show what it is.

I can't imagine there's too many people who tune in because of 'E' and Vincent Chase.

The first two seasons are amazing. Its unfair to all other Entourage seasons because these two were some of the best tv I have seen.

Billy Walsh sucks...he is "ok" in small doses but they had him in way too many scenes in season 4.

Typical Billy Walsh scene:
+E and Vince trying to find Blly
+Billy acts like a jerk when they find him
+Rips on E
+E rips on Billy
+Vince calms them down

He is such a shit character.

Quite often in Television shows what begins as a cameo role morphs into a main role as has happened here.

The writers are clearly talented as i think they basically have 5-6 "main characters" and manage to balance the % each one is sited well enough to keep viewers entertained in all, as well as Drama Ari & Walsh you could include Lloyd also. Hence the praise all the actors have for the writer.

What happened to Rufus's daughter the one turtle was dating in Season 4, I cannont recall her being seen again after the one episode. Can anyone jog my memory??

I also really enjoy the in-site the show gives about Hollywood i.e Scripts, Studios, Producers and all the behind the scenes dealings & negotiations you do not really get a feel for just watching normal tv/movies.

Yeah I could not get episode 8 to work either. I think it is the one where "E" trys to buy an office for his managment business and the boys try to buy him a desk but have to compete for it with Gary Busey. Busey is always quite funny when he is involved.

Personally I like Walsh. Ari's the best and yeah Drama has come along great. E's a great character I reckon, probably the most realistic anyway. Turtle is kind of just there and has been doing the same thing for the entire series. Vince is generally just the middle man I guess, as the show is more about the 'entourage', pretty much Eric and Ari squabbling over Vince with comic relief from 'the 2 ******s' haha.

Harvey and Gary Busey are great recurring characters, I've never seen the point of the PR woman, ha I've seen every episode and can't even remember her name!

She was axed. Didn't appear in series 4 from memory.
