Re: Entourage Season 4

She wasn't axed, but she got pregnant and couldn't keep doing the scenes. If i recall correctly, she was in most episodes in the first two seasons.

I liked her character to be honest.

Re: Entourage Season 4

Re: Entourage Season 4

Shauna was also in a few episodes at the end of Season 4 after she'd had the baby...

Yeah as I said she was in the one where E tried to take out an ad for "The Murphy Group". I like her as a bit character, something Billy Walsh should be.

Re: Entourage Season 4

Season 4 was awesome. But by no way does it match the first 2 seasons. Like the first two had an aura of being party boys who didnt give a hoot and chased girls left, right and centre. Now there all serious and the party boy lifestyle have seemed to be knocked out of them.

Walsh is thrown in to create a different dimension (unseen) to the twist and even though i hate him, he does a good job. And who would of thought Lloyd would be as good as he is. He would easily win the best Supporting the supporting actors award.

But whose the main character? Sure everyones character surrounds Vince but by no means is he the main character.

Re: Entourage Season 4

Eric and Ari are the main characters I reckon, it does revolve around Vince but he's generally in the dark or totally aloof to most things that are going on.

Kevin Connolly gets top billing in the credits too (no it's not in alphabetical order!)

Re: Entourage Season 4

Judging from the promo for Rove tomorrow night - they have "Entourage Superstar" Adrian Greiner on the show.

I'm just guessing, but could that mean that Entourage might be going FTA soon?

Re: Entourage Season 4

It's the sort of show channel 10 would pair with Californication at 10:30 on the Tuesday. For a few weeks, after which it would disappear.

Re: Entourage Season 4

I caught a bit of Rush Hour 2 on tv last night and there was an interesting character who was a gay clothing shop clerk, played by none other than Jeremy Piven. It was basically a gay version of Ari, I haven't seen much of Pivens acting but is it all like this?

Go and rent out any John Cusack movie - then you'll see him.

He played 'TV George' on Seinfeld and the head writer on the early (and best) seasons of the Larry Sanders Show.

Re: Entourage Season 4

Eric is definitely the main character.

I think they're trying a bit too hard to justify Ari & Wife being in the show as often as they are.

Drama is the ****ing king.

yeh, i agree about the wife... she even has her name in the opening credits in season 4...

has grown on me, now johnny drama is my fav character...

Re: Entourage Season 4

Anyone reckon they should have done more with the Anna Farris storyline?

It kind of just ended abruptly (as if she was only contracted for 3 eps..), I thought it was going to an excellent storyline with conflict between Eric and Vince, Eric being secretly keen on her, the filming of the new movie with her and Vince etc

At least it would have given Vince a bit more character!

Maybe that's the point of Vince though aye?

Re: Entourage Season 4

Yeah it was really suddened. After the second episode, it really did have potential. Like a cameo for 5 or 6 episodes would of been good. Something like Eric setting up Anna's next project where she pisses off for 6 months or something but really sets up Eric's career.

Vince does need alot more flavour to his character. In the first few seasons he was great... As he was not only the hot-shot actor and spent his days rootin, but he was also an ass-hole, pot smoker, dumb ass, mummys boy, Mr Who cares, whipped, etc, etc.

Oh and Sloan has to come back. My Lord that girl is hot.

Re: Entourage Season 4

Agreed on Sloan! Damnation!

but yeah Anna Farris storyline had a lot of potential. It didn't really need to be 'Anna Farris' they could have just made up a character and made her an up and coming actress on some show (they've done it before), perhaps they are just so used to the celebrity cameos (most of them great, like Mandy Moore and Jessica Alba) and figured they could do a little storyline with Farris. Creatiing a character would also give him a bit more license when portraying how successful and famous she has become, how successful E is without Vince etc etc. To be honest, I had to look up Anna Farris on imdb to make sure it was who I thought it was.

Oh well, maybe we haven't seen the last of her.

A split with Eric and Vince would have added something more to the show - lets face it, most shows come to an end after 5-6 seasons on HBO, so perhaps they should start having a bit of an eye to the future for the shows conclusion (which would logically be the 'Entourage' going onto bigger and better things).

Re: Entourage Season 4

ha yeah and 'Turtle' is a regular Marlon Brando. ;)

Nah I meant, with the exception of also being massively tasty, they are both legitimate 'hot' celebrity types that work well in the show as they are the kinds of people Vince and co. would associate with.

Who can forget Cheeeese from Old School.
Great Piven role.

Heading to pick up up Season 3.5 from JB tonight despite seeing most episodes online...plenty of Sloan in that season.:thumbsu:
