Just kicked an amazing goal that had me out of my chair. Judd scoopes up the ball hard up against the boundary line against the Magpies and just chucks it on the snap. The tightest of angles, not a problem.

Now try kicking them from straight in front, Juddy. :D
 
Soccer goal, but ACTUALLY soccer style.

Sam Reid has made his way from CHF to the forward pocket, chasing a long kick which has held up on the ground just before the boundary. Defender is with him, so I tap square, which soccers it ACROSS the goals, where my forward pocket gets to it, also has a defender, and so soccers it back, this time more towards the goalsquare, where Reid has kept running and soccers it through, defender still on his hammer. It was a brilliant 1-2 effort.

Playing on legend difficulty, the CPU has a mark about 10 metres inside their defensive 50. He goes to handball it to his right and Luke Ball comes steaming through and intercepts the ball to kick truly from 35. The North guy just stands there stunned :thumbsu:

The second one was a lot more exciting for me anyway, I'm up by 3 points with 5 minutes left and there's a ballup deep in my forward 50. Hamis McIntosh taps it down and Steele sharks it and boots the goal, game sealed! It was my first win on Legend difficulty and I was going nuts. :thumbsu:
 
I got goals that the player is reknown for in real life, example..........

It was a 2 on 2 in my forward line, Jack (Riewoldt) was iin a wrestle with James Frawley 20m out from goal as it was pumped long from Daniel Jackson who had had a couple of bounces from a throw-in on centre wing. Dustin Martin was sprinting alongside Jacko and as Frawley managed to spoil the ball towards Martin who had followed the ball to the pocket he picked it up and was immediately confronted by Clint Bartram, who elected not to lay a tackle but to cannon into Dusty and throw himself off balance into Frawley who had run over the help, Dusty stuck out the arm and gave a textbook don't argue, before regaining his balance and off 1 step snapping a low ball on the left.......i can see him actually doing that:D
 
My best one was the one that unlocked the "end-to-end" trophy!

Goddard kicks the ball in after a point long to a contest. Polo flies and takes down a hanger. Gets up straight away and handballs it to Gram. Fends off a Carlton player, takes 2 bounces, plays a quick 1-2 via hand with Montagna, takes another 2 bounces and drills the goal from 55m. Was pretty epic!

Also kicked a number of goals from 55m on the boundary from a set shot that would rarely go in! Haha.
 
Had a nice one today, the ball was dribbled forward from a spoil in the pocket and was heading towards the point post. Porplyzia was running across the face to get to it followed hotly by 2 Saint defenders, when Porps picks it up and handballs back over his head, between the 2 defenders to Tippett waiting in the goal square for the easy goal.

I just did that today, lol. Was playing against Brisbane in season mode with the Demons, Jurrah hand-balled it over his head with a minute remaining, to find Petterd in the goal-sqaure who slots what appears to be the match sealer. Only problem was, with 30 seconds to go, The rucks go at it, the ball falls in the hands of the lions, I try to tackle him, he fends me off, they get the ball down the ground, and eventually find FEVOLA with ten seconds to go. He kicks after the siren, and wins them the game... that sucked! lol

(playing season mode with Melbourne on Legend difficulty. Had a slow start against Sydney which was a 10 goal to none first quarter, ended up losing the game by 70! Then I played Hawks who were top of the table, and I beat them by 10 goals in an inspired performance, t'was AMAZING! Then I played Brisbane round three, and lost it after the siren. Topsy-Turvey at the moment, like Melbourne irl! LMFAO!)

- Ben Johnson takes a speccie against Cats (not very realistic) on 50 and barrells a torp through the middle (very not realistic).

- Alan Didak takes a quick snap from the boundary line, bounces for 20 metres and dribbles through as some St. Kilda guy lunges at it.

- Dale Thomas goes up for a hanger from a opposition kickout at 70, spills the ball but runs onto it, picks it up at 60 out runs to 45 on the boundary and slots a long drop punt.

- Just those rewarding goals you get when laying 5 tackles in the center square, force the turnover, fling a handball over the top and drill a pass to the leading FF for a long goal. That feels warm!

Not a goal, but playing in the NAB cup GF, scores are tight in the premiership quarter, using matty scarlett I spoiled the mark from behind (forgot the player) and ran along with the fwd in hot persuit. I kick off the ground, and chase, fwd still behind, another soccer from scarlo to the HF flank as stephen hill picks up the ball and scarlo grabs him and tackles him out of bound.
 
Playing online Hawthorn (me) vs Essendon boundary throw in just my side of the wing, ball comes lose Burgoyne soccers forward where cyril picks it up on the wrong side for a left footer. He runs and then kicks it the ball looks destined for the post when on the bounce it goes through and brings me within 2 goals i believe it was the turning point cos Cyril did it again twice, shrugged off mcveigh and slotted it straight over the goal umpires hat and then a four bounce run for a goal i went on to win by 22

Was just playing my season on the highest difficulty, wet close scoring game with Sydney I am the hawks, I spot Osborne running towards the goals from right half forward, I keep my eye on him, roughhead gets it passes to Osborne who kicks the games sealer!
 
Playing a private match against bigfudge65 (Cory676 on BF), Jeff Garlett kicked a miraculous goal from the boundary, 2 minutes later he kicked another miraculous goal from the exact same angle and pocket, couldn't believe it.
 
Last night i was playing in a close hard fought tacklefest of a contest, 3 points separating us in the last quarter. I gradually worked the ball around the boundary into my forward pocket, with it going out of bounds a few times along the way. This throw in came in the pocket, a metres around from my goal. Tap goes to ground about a metre or so from the boundary, and i had a player running through soccer it towards goal, it was on line but then bent away to go across the face, in the process going throught the legs of 2 defenders when my left forward pocket who was running in soccered it back past them for the goal. Felt pretty good.
 
Boundary throw in, in my offensive pocket. Naitanui punches it to Darling in the goal square (facing away from the goals), he shrugs off two tacklers, dishes it off, runs on, receives it back and snaps miraculously over his shoulder from a tight angle deep into the pocket.

I love this game.
 
I had Dal Santo tacking the kick in then I changed him to full forward .

So he kick up the middle were Fisher marks then keep on running and get the handball. Takes a bounce before kicking to Riewoldt.

Rooey walks back, just about to have a shot. the Dal Santo runs straight past so he handballs over the man of the marks head and the Dal kick an easy goal.

Goal wasn't overly spectacular, but occassion and atmosphere was. LeCras needed 1 more to take out the Coleman in the final H&A game of the season.

Plonked in the goal square, in the last quarter, long bomb forward and a massive ride by Lecca on Adelaide's FB to take the hanger. Sent chills through me. Easy goal, but epicly earnt.

BTW, LeCras looks absolutely amazing in my trophy room with the Coleman. So freakin lifelike... good job BA. :thumbsu:
