Family friendly blockbuster film has a happy ending? The horror.sure would, if only they had the balls to do that. sick of all the goody two shoes endings
Inspired by Rich EvansIt's got Father Roddy's Vatican city seal of approval
did rogue one have a happy ending?Family friendly blockbuster film has a happy ending? The horror.
In fairness ESB/ROTS/RO didn't have happy endings, and Solo's was ambiguously 'happy', so it's not undoable.Family friendly blockbuster film has a happy ending? The horror.
Rogue One was a stand-alone film, not part of the main saga, which has always been aimed at kids. I am sure there will be more adult fare along the way. The real exception is ROTS (Empire and Last Jedi are middle films in a trilogy and still balanced unhappy endings with a thrilling escape for the heroes). Of course, ROTS had a pre-determined destination and audience. This is the end of a trilogy as well as the end of the saga. Expecting a downbeat ending would be like expecting Endgame to finish with Thanos on top and all the heroes dead. Ain’t gonna happen.did rogue one have a happy ending?
SM chipped in with ESB and ROTS that also didnt have happy endings and are main saga. So there!Rogue One was a stand-alone film, not part of the main saga, which has always been aimed at kids. Just because ESB didn't kill the heroes doesn't make it 'balanced'. Han is in carbonite, Luke has lost his hand, and they're on the run. Oh so the main character behind the whole saga dies but we’ll just put that aside?Just because ESB didn't kill the heroes doesn't make it 'balanced'. Han is in carbonite, Luke has lost his hand, and they're on the run. Hardly balanced.
TLJ is somewhat happier because no one actually got hurt, except for Luke.
Yes because he was a bit part character in this trilogy.Oh so the main character behind the whole saga dies but we’ll just put that aside?
Who's doing what now? We're not criticising it..Can you fannies stop killing it before it comes out?
Lucas says a lot of things, though...Yes because he was a bit part character in this trilogy.
He's not really the 'main character' though is he? Lucas himself said the saga was about Anakin. No idea who the new retconned main character is meant to be, seems like it's just this vague concept of the 'Skywalker' name.
I hope he wins. Why not, fu** it all. Subvert expectations and all that sith. She better not!
Palps the only thing the can save this movie
So Luke is the main character despite not appearing in essentially four of the films? OK.Lucas says a lot of things, though...
Didn't Kylo beat her on Takodana?no one can beat rey even with no training. all the great sith lords would be vanquished. shes the new england patriots of the star wars universe
