It's been 1 game and 1 of the goals was a penalty haha.
How he earned the penalty was key. West Ham are hardly a s**t team, especially at home, and he brushed past their defense twice comfortably.
The second goal is going to be one you see a lot of. Into space, opens the body and puts it into the corner.

As was the case previously, the only thing that stops Haaland is injuries. But City have better depth than RB and Dortmund, they don't need him to play 90mins every game. He will get enough chances in 60 to 70 mins, will score, then get rested against teams where its wrapped up.

How many over-hyped strikers come into the pen and do nothing on debut? Quite a few. How many get a brace and do it quite easily?

Interesting thing for me about that performance, if defenders can't step up because they know Haaland will be trying to get in behind, how much space does that leave for the likes of KDB, Foden etc.

Haaland starts his run very early for the passage where he won the penalty, so stepping up just gives more space for him to run into. So then you risk having to have a high line, which he will run in behind.
