Yellow card suspensions are competition specific from what I have seen, but red card suspensions for the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and EPL all carry over to each other.

I mean we have seen it from a number of players this year, going into the EPL into a team not built around what made your previous season successful means you have to acclimatize.

Gyokeres has been scoring goals, and bulldozing CBs but has taken a while to click especially off the back of having CFs who drop in to get the ball like Havertz and Jesus.
Same goes for Eze, who despite being Prem proven is in a drastically different role and system at Arse than he was at Palace.
I think some of our shittier supports thought Gyokeres was going to come in and do numbers like he did last season and that was never the case.
