Good point!

But it seems to be a thing where the clubs drown out the fans with music from the speakers apart from during the 90 minutes of play.
Atmosphere etc etc usually. Very American style now. I mean wasn't there an article about extending breaks to allow for half time entertainment?

Hate Opta Joe and the one word endings to messages.

Chelsea isn't unfortunate. They are extremely wasteful at times. Theres no bad luck here.

Clubs have a dirty habit of playing loud music to hide the fan's unrest.

Tried and tested method of distraction. Works in many situations.

Rio sticking the boot in no less than Carra deserves. "The moment he starts talking about league titles I just mute it". :D

Non-United supporters must be thinking that utopia on here will only be achieved when Ronaldo has retired.

It's interesting that Carrick started him on the bench. I wonder if this will become more his role in future, especially as Ragnarok likes to play a high pressing game. If so, would he accept it?

Ragnarok? Lol.

No, I don’t expect Ronaldo would accept a bench role at all. So it will be interesting to see these next few weeks, months.

Yes, he likes to talk about titles! He never gets tired of it :)

In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is a series of events foretold to lead to the death of a number of great figures. After these events, the world will resurface anew and fertile. It could be symbolic of what is about to happen at Man U. Ronaldo, Maguire and Fred all lose a game of carrot in the box and get shipped out.

Why not? At the end of the day he is 37 next year. Nobody can beat age despite what he may think personally. Playing less at a higher intesity might be the way to go to maximise his output.

Because he’s Ronaldo and he won’t accept sitting on the bench.
