You can call it bias and that would be true years ago. But Liverpool have genuinely been one of the best teams on the planet for about 4 years now. Arsenal not at their best. No Arsenal players get in the XI. That's not bias, just facts.

Saka would.

Over who?

Don't think he fits klopps midfield 3. And he doesn't start over mane or salah in the wide front spots. We all know jod is pretty bias but a combined arsenal Liverpool XI is probably 10-1 or 11-0

I think White and Tierney would make a combined side, possibly PEA for Firmino.

Is Tavares starting over Tierney atm for Arsenal?

Due to Tierney’s injury yes, however last week at Anfield I felt Tierney should’ve come back in. Wouldn’t have affected the result necessarily. Tierney surely plays this weekend.

Would love to see who gets in a combined XI in Jod's mind between City and Liverpool or Chelsea and Liverpool.

I'm sure he'd find some way to spin it that every Liverpool player is more deserving.

It would be 8-3 or 7-4 Liverpool's way

Yeah I was thinking that Tsimikas may actually get in on merit.
From his 8 starts in all comps this season, he has a win and clean sheet in every game. But I've been more impressed with his crossing than his defensive side.

Robbo probably has more running power though, but if you compare them this season, Robertson has been on the pitch for all 16 goals we've conceded (from 11 starts). Not blaming it all on him obviously, but it's just a weird stat.

Oxlade Chamberpot started for Liverpool last week. Saka starts before him.

Not as an 8. Ox has been Liverpool’s best midfielder in the last few weeks. Saka is not a CM.

Be careful with the Ox slander or I may have to bump the Ox Files.

Probably. Ridiculous.

FWIW

Mendy
James/TAA Rudi VVD Robbo
Kante Fabinho
Mount
Salah Lukaku Mane

Ederson/Alisson
TAA Dias VVD Cancelo
Rodri Foden
KDB
Salah Sterling Mane
James and TAA is either/or, I'd go James personally. And Ederson/Alisson is either or too IMO.

Liverpool/Chelsea is even as it can be, Liverpool/City slightly in City's favour.
Just for you glenferry23 :kissingheart: 🤪

Fabinho over Rodri imo, and Bernardo Silva has to be in, he’s City’s best player.

Lol. White is no where near the level of Matip. Robbo has been the best LB on the earth for about 3 years now. PEA I used to love but is absolutely cooked. Jota in front of him and probably Firmino at the moment.
