Marquee Game of the Week:
Crystal Palace v Man City (City in the hottest form in the world right now but Palace should throw some punches)

Compelling:
Chelsea v Everton (Chelsea needs a win to salvage any chance of a title run. Everton gets another shot to prove they belong with the big dogs)
Sunderland v Newcastle (Been waiting all season for this one)
Man United v Bournemouth (Probably should be a "Watchable" but United are due to have a slip up hehe)

Watchable:
Liverpool v Brighton (two teams dying to go on a run, in either direction)
Forest v Tottenham (idk why but the ex-Ange Cup screams unintentional comedy)
West Ham v Aston Villa (Villa are just a watchable team right now not matter who they play)

Meh:
Brentford v Leeds

Nah:
Burnley v Fulham (Fulham have been fun but Burnley should be able to nullify that with a big fat bus)

Just give them the points (supersized edition):
Arsenal v Wolves (could be a 7-0-esque scoreline in play though so could be retroactively watchable)

Handing Wolves their first win of the season would be the most Arsenal thing I've ever seen just quietly
I feel like everyone says this about their club.

Not everyone's club is known as Bottlers FC in all fairness
No, but I wager almost every fanbase would bemoan slipping up against weak sides as "typical them". There's typical city, doctor Tottenham, etc that all come up. End of the day losing to bad sides happens, but I don't think you'll be losing to wolves

True.

Geelong supporters insist that we drop games to terrible opposition semi-regularly and most seasons there's very little truth to it.

Geelong supporters also claim your list is bottom 4 and only Chris Scott’s genius coaching sees you finish top 4 regularly.

🤷‍♂️

Not really. We have less talent on the list than Brisbane currently. Talent-wise it's recognised that we can hold our own against most clubs. Our consistency over 15 seasons largely comes down to Scott and his support staff, yes.

Every club in the competition has less talent than Brisbane tbf.

So it's not a ridiculous thing for Geelong supporters to say? Nobody is saying that West Coast has a better list. But it is true that usually 1-3 clubs have a bit more firepower and depth. If they didn't, Geelong would have 5+ flags under Scott. Brisbane 2024-2025, Richmond 2017-2020 and Hawthorn 2013-2014 in particular had stronger teams, that's all.

Your list is good enough to make top 4/6 every year and you do.

I agree with this, Geelong always has a handful of guys who if drafted by us or another club would have been delisted already and they squeeze a use out of them

Credit to Wolves. They've made it very hard for Arsenal and had the best two chances in the first half.

Arsenal bench is very strong. Jesus is better than Gyökeres at unlocking a defence. We might see Trossard for Martinelli and Ødegaard for Eze.
