yeah two people, bail but... he's important to the first team. What's more important? Obviously winning football matches is more important than anything else. Get behind him and cheer him, he deserves it.
Didn't Gylfi Siggurdsson get stood down without charges?

Some clubs have different levels of what they stand for, probably comes from the weirdo manager who "conquered his wife"

Everton even applied for a PSR exemption cos they couldn't sell him due to the investigation and his contract expired.

Everyone is riddled by injuries besides Pool. It would be like if Pool lost Salah and VvD dropped form or got injured.

Pool have the luck of the Irish with injuries this year and thats going to be the difference between them and a title.
Liverpool's most clinical attacker (and easily best striker) has barely started in the PL this season. Gomez is more reliable on the pitch than Robertson and TAA at this point and has missed a fair bit as well. 5 or 6 matches without Konate had to be navigated, 8 or so without Allison. Salah's immense durability comes with the trade off of lulls that are inevitable from playing every minute. It's been a decent run but it's a bit of a stretch to suggest it's been a dream. I didn't see any neutrals crying for Liverpool the moments in previous seasons where injuries saw them drop off Man City (who have consistently had a deeper squad...until now, ironically).

Slot's style, in comparison to Klopp's, also gives a lower chance of players breaking.

Game week 24 update

Liverpool improves their goal difference over the chasing pack, and still with a game in hand.

Team Pl W-D-L +/- Pts
Liverpool 23 17-5-1 56-21 56pts
ManU/Spurs 48 16-8-24 76-71 56pts

Surely this won’t last until the end of the season.

Probably because those charges were related to grooming a minor?

Also, did Tottenham not sign Bissouma while he was under investigation and on bail for the exact same thing that Partey is?

I guess some clubs have different levels of what they stand for.

You are awesome allowing your morals to be dictated by the shirt colour someone wears. Classic whataboutism.
How do you know what my opinion on Partey is?

I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy

anyways, forget all this. we have to remember what is truly important.

united lost again.

I personally didn't want us to go near him until it was cleared, or at all tbh.

Thankfully in his instance there was no untoward by Yves and that was cleared up within a few months. It never got to the stage where he couldn't leave the country and went on for years awaiting charges etc

Go use a search filter of our thread or I'm sure one of the Spurs contingent i disagreed with at the time will atest to my view on that signing. Like I said glad it came to nothing. Still think it's a reason I've never fully warmed to the guy, associates with dickheads to even get to that stage. End up being a petty laughing gas thing we banned him for.

Would be sickening to see a very likely rapist line up for my club for months/years all the while pretty much everyone knows it's the case.

Pretty impressive that Thomas Partey has been featuring in all of our away UCL fixtures while not being allowed to leave the country

FWIW I hope justice is served and whoever the guilty party in this case gets whats coming to them.

If Thomas is found guilty and the club has been playing him this whole time with knowledge that outcome was coming... then that will be incredibly disappointing for me as a fan.

If it turns out to be nothing, then we move on.

'Pretty much everyone knows' = someone on twitter said it so it must be true

He was initially banned from travelling when they first began the investigation.

Can you actually cite any of this 'info at hand'?

31 year old who lives in Barnet, North London.

Plays in the Premier League. Narrows it down to Arsenal and Tottenham. Then the age narrows it down to Ben Davies and Thomas Partey.

Partey missed a pre season tour early in the investigation with no injury and played either side of the tour in England because he couldn't travel.

In a two horse race between Ben Davies and Partey, it's $1.01 Partey.

No shit. I wasn't asking for evidence that he's the one under investigation, that is already common knowledge.

I'm more interested in some evidence that he's actually committed what he's accused of, outside of some people on twitter saying he's done it.

I'm sure it will all play out in due course. I sincerely hope justice comes to whoever deserves it.

Once there's enough evidence to get to this point it says a lot.

Takes a lot to get a guilty verdict in court. Doesn't mean it never happened.
