VVD was not gash at all he dominated in the air all game. Dier was though, far too vanilla and easy to disposses under pressure.

Salah might have ended Vertonghen's career though :)
Yet he cost you the game. Dier was terrible too.
75m and he cost you 2 points. Even Lovren was better than VVD

Really should have won it
Agree, but after it looked like Salah wins them a game, I'd take a point every day of the week. We lose from that situation 98 times out of 100.

First point away on the road against top 6 this year, need to beat Arsenal and Chelsea now however if we want top 4. Stamford Bridge hoodoo has to end.

Vertonghen has regularly been gash against decent right forward types

Cost us against Arsenal and Leicester not doing anything about Lacazette and Mahrez.

Poch loves him however

Dreaming. First was offside, and Kane hung his leg out for The most minimal of contact.

Second VvD pulled out and Lamela dived. Good luck to you though. Absolute con job.

If they happened against you, you would write 3 paragraphs.
Haha Ive not seen one pundit or anyone watching the game who didnt say the second was a clear pen. Even most of the people in this thread said it was clear. Youre categorically wrong on this one. He clearly kicked him in teh back of the leg.

First was only a clip and Ive already said I didnt think there was enough there, but he wasnt offside because Lovren touched the ball on its way through according to the lineo.

Apparently Moss was told by the linesman that Kane was offside for the first penalty by the linesman but still decided to award it.
Nah, you could hear what they were saying on teh Sky Sports stream. He was saying that if Lovren didnt play at and touch teh ball Kane was offside. Moss said that he did touch it and therefore Kane was no longer offside. I dont actually agree with that interpretation of teh rule because Kane is influencing the play by being there, but that's what was said.

Because Lovren got a touch on it so it's a new pass played. The whole passive things up for interpretation though because if Lovren just leaves it falls to Kane and he is off.

On the penalty calls. First one Kane wins that, doesn't dive but knows what he is doing and Karius falls into his plan. Second one, 75m really doesn't get you a whole lot these days. In all seriousness stonewall second one VVD with a tired clearance Lamela gets in his path and he can't bring his already moving leg back

Actually believing Lamela deserved a penalty for that has to be the most delusional thing I've ever seen.
Haha so Gary Neville, Martin Tyler, Jamie Redknapp, Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher must all be delusional then. All agreed it was a pen.

Lol. being Liverpool.

Need to learn the rules mate. Lovren's interception made Kane on side (the refs even had a long conversation about it so you should have caught on maybe?) and there was clear contact by Karius.

As for the second pen. WTF? Stonewall mate.

Hahaha. Tim Sherwood is making jokes about it.

Lovren's touch is absolutely irrelevant. As soon as the pass comes in Kane is offside. The ball is passed to him so he is active. It is 100% offside.
