If professional referees and both the The Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) and Premier League Match Centre for Media are saying it should have been offside then it's not utterly incorrect.

Its a grey area that needs to be properly clarified.

All this talk about offside or not, pretty sure the only reason there was no flag is that the assistant just didn’t see it. Can hardly blame him as there was about 15 bodies between the linesman & where Kane was

Will be a minor miracle if Everton get anything out of this game. They're battling hard but can't string a pass together and I think it's only a matter of time for Liverpool.

Miracle completed. Advantage Manchester City.

That was a pretty entertaining game in the end. Will gladly take a draw and a point

I haven’t seen much of Van Djik until today. The guy is an absolute freak of a player. If not for him it might have been a completely different game.

You’re welcome, City. Don’t slip up

Papermate lol, we did more than enough to win that, just a couple of heavy touches missing the chance to shoot & matter of inches away from scoring from Richie’s cross to Bernard. No absolute clear cut chances created that made Alison work, 2nd half much better than the first where the passing was terrible.

Salah squibbing a couple of chances but Liverpool did absolutely * all apart from that which was surprising, nerves were showing

Tired looking performance, lacking that midfield creative player. Had this and Spurs / Chelsea as the danger games for dropping points in the run in.

City will win it from here, anything less would be a huge choke for them with our current form.
Not good from you today. Salah was particularly off. Not over yet though, they’ll be a few more twists and turns to come

Not like choking a 7pt lead or anything if they do....

VVD has to be PotY this season. Immense again today. Liverpool would be in the battle for top four rather than a title one if it weren’t for him. Struggling to recall a better season from a centre half

Sol Campbell in the invincibles season

Really? He was good but nothing special today. Wasn't asked to do a lot and actually twice gave Everton chances by ball watching. He also had chances at the other end and butchered them.

Really? He was an absolute colossus tonight. You’d have probably won if a mere mortal has been playing at the back instead. You need to stop digging and ditch this strange loathing you have of him.

Vidic, Kompany, Campbell and Stam.

Yawn. I don't loathe him. I loathe people and their ability to hype things. We'd have won? What a laugh. Again, he didn't have a lot to do today. He almost sliced one into his own net because he was too busy appealing to the linesman. Great defenders never switch off.
