We already have a very good record against the better sides in the league, are big weakness is the inexcusable weak losses against the lower sides, besides that we have a solid defence that already don't leak many goals, a decent attack which is one or two players away from being lethal and a decent midfield, so I think by adding 3 world class players to the squad it will definitely cut the gap and produce a team capable of challenging for the title.

Everyone knows Liverpool are a great side but they aren't unbeatable and the chasing pack will be coming hard for them. Yes they may go back to back and they are favourites to do so but I don't see them winning the league by this margin again.

Nothing unreasonable in that, if I were a Manu U fan I'd be pretty optimistic.

Liverpool (or anyone) you'd think are unlikely to win 25 of 26 as happened this season. We'll lose Salah and Mane for some part of the season, need to find some midfield creativity and need to bolster our depth.

City and Chelsea would be confident of improving too.

Was going to say this. I don't think there's many title winning squads that don't "feel different".
Media were going on about how Mourinho was going to create a dynasty of success at Chelsea after 14/15.

That went well.

I am definitely not optimistic whilst we are still owned by the Glazers but some signs at the moment are good.

Well yeah that seems to be the common thought toward your owners. I guess my point is I can see potential in MU, even at Anfield I thought you played some good football just not for long enough periods and Martial not taking a golden opportunity when it presented basically shot his own team in the foot. You've since added Fernandes, Rashford's return should make a big difference, then you use the Sanchez and/or Pogba money to add further quality and it all adds up to this Liverpool supporter being wary of a resurgent United.

Won't be any Sanchez money, that guy will be marched out hopefully.

City literally have gone back to back the last two season hehe.

But of course it won't be easy. But we are most likely going to win it by a record margin.

So it's gonna take us falling away significantly and someone improving massively.

Liveprool won’t be going back to back as next season you’ll likely win your first title in 50 years.

Coronavirus will end this season.

Imagine. Cannot happen though. If Liverpool don't win the title then Man United don't get into the Champions League either. And Tottenham do

Be careful what you wish for ;)

Apologies for the poorly worded post. I meant to say prior to City, it had been a while before that. It's rare. Sorry for the confusion.

Especially given they pay agents more than any other club in world football.
HEY! What have I told you about using facts? They're not wanted when discussing Liverpool. Only plaudits about Klopp and his Nobel peace prize for solving the Israel Palestine conflict

Especially given they pay agents more than any other club in world football.

Not in 2016/17 and definitely won't be in 2019/20 when the next lot of figures come out shortly. The two years inbetween saw huge amounts of incoming and outgoing transfers so not surprising that agent fees were high for that period.

You spent the most in the PL in 2016/17

On agent fees you dullard.

lol

Wrong again. You must really enjoy being wrong all the time. Great call btw going on about Evertons net spend. You got that wrong also. Get yourself checked for Corona virus - it would explain your irrational posting today.

I misread the article, it was 2017-18. You were 3rd, still hardly "not spending" and being "shrewd".

As for Everton's net spend - how was I wrong? I never pointed out figures, I said simply look at the net spend not the total spend.

Now you are suggesting coronavirus somehow plays with mental faculties, fundamentally misunderstanding virology.

The point still remains that Liverpool fans are incredibly deluded when it comes to spending in the premier league, constantly touting themselves as low spenders when the opposite remains true. It's remarkable that Klopp has managed to win the league with this rag tag bunch of guys who earn £1 a week and cost nothing to buy.

Haha still running with a bs line. If only we spent as much as Everton for a #powershift.

You're the delusional one in this discussion and its showing.
