EPL Matchday 29

7 wins and 3 draws in our last 10 ain't bad. We are by no means close to the finished article but improving.
Eh... If you call that improvement so be it. A few lucky results like last year's honeymoon doesn't paper over the cracks of a terrible managee

How were they lucky? Ole has a plan and it worked. Their defence has improved too, Maguire has started to put it together after an ordinary first half to the season and AWB is class. Their recent 3-0 over Watford suggests they can get it done against average-s**t teams too. They've still got some work to do but Ole isn't doing that badly, especially considering many had them finishing around 6th.

Hopefully we can keep it up for the rest of the season. I'd take a 70% win ratio with the rest being draws. Without doing the maths that would probably have us in 2nd if we were able to do it over a whole season.

Definitely still have work to do in terms of beating the lower half teams and being more clinical. Good post.

How about that game against Burnley

That was back in January. They haven't lost since then and look to be turning it around, Fernandes has played a huge role in that but their defence has also tidied up, especially Maguire.

Do United fans enjoy the style Ole plays or are you just happy to be winning again?

You spend enough money anyone could manage United to wins. Very negative manager who says some of dumbest comments I've heard from a manager.

Still think we should sack him and replace with Poch.

But they still lost comfortably to them and looked bog average in many games since, including the Bruges game away and Everton away.

Who do you think won the ball back from the oppo and gave the ball to arteta in good positions. That's like saying Barkley is better than Kante lol
Lee Carsley. Neville played left back for us until Baines came along. By then Arteta was our best player and Baines was second best. Plus we had Super Tim Cahill.

Our player of the season in Neville's first season was Arteta (also PPotY), and the second.

City have lost more league games currently than Arsenal this season. Now that’s a random stat that I’d say very few would’ve believed possible if you were to tell them that last season.

Tbh haven't been impressed by Bruno. Runs out of steam in 45 mins. Also gives the ball away easy. Can do the magical at times, but you can see why he wasn't a star in any other league than the Portuguese league. It's a pretty standard media beat up of a new United player. They do it with all big teams and ignore the mistakes.

Things like it's a young team? Average age of 25. City had an average of 26.

United fans up and about is hilarious.

Only Pants with any reality.
They've just done the double over their cross-town rivals, they're understandably pretty cheery. I don't think anyone's claimed that United are all of a sudden world-beaters either but they're gradually showing signs of improvement. No one has said Ole is the next SAF either, just not completely incompetent as many say he is.

Just let Jod believe what he wants to believe.
