I'd say they must've been on the beers last night but a few players in there don't drink and were as bad as anybody in the first half. We looked 200% better when Díaz came on and should've got a draw but the damage was done. I'd be more concerned if we didn't respond in the second half.

Also Vale Southampton.

Who did Diaz come on for? Missed it as I was running errands

Gakpo and he did more in the first 5 mins than Gakpo did all game
The first half the commentators were saying that he made castagne work hard, but maybe they were being generous (didn't watch it either, just five minutes after back from taking the daughter swimming)

Luckily the season is coming to an end.

Based on the highlights the defence looked so shoddy.

At least look like champions.

It was already a free kick though, they didnt awarded one. Everton won a FK then the ref blew the whistle early, so Everton complained and the ref realised there was still time so let Everton take their free kick.
So he still blew the whistle before the game was due to end, right?

Best ever whistle blows too early football moment

I remember umpiring a 9 a side tournament here in Aussie rules and the Belfast coach telling me I was wrong for blowing my whistle as time was called... Completely the opposite to GAA/Soccer

Got to be close to the worst season in recent times doesn't it?

Runaway champion
Relegation teams realistically figured out halfway through the season
Teams finding and exploiting FFP loopholes
Ref controversies

I'm sure I'm missing things as well.

Liverpool winning?

Yeah this season is pretty awful. PL must be worried at the chasm between the PL and Championship which is just driving uncompetitiveness. As a mid-table supporter of a Palace or Brentford or Bournemouth you'd be loving it but I can't imagine even for them it would be too much fun coming into the season knowing that the best you can hope for is a third rate European comp rather than any success (i.e. title) in the actual league you're competing in.

He did yeah, by about 20 seconds. But he didnt re-start the game and then award Everton a free kick. He'd already blown for the fk, then decided the end the game, then realised there was actually still time to play, re-started the game, let Everton take their fk, nothing eventuates, blew the whistle. It's fine. People make mistakes. Nobody got hurt and the result didnt change.

I mean the last half hasnt changed. Brentford, Palace or a Bournemouth were never winning the league since the PL started, that's never changed.

Only the 1 in a million Leicester has it ever happened and I'm sure we wont be seeing that ever again.

Outside of that, what have the last 25 years been? Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, United, Arsenal...

Are you missing my point that those teams are now essentially immune from relegation too?
