The word doesn’t describe a team that has gone 16-8-1 in the last 25 games in the league. If United were “insipid” they’d be outside the top 4.
It's probably more a reflection of where the competition is at with their squads, has city really been that dominant?

Not dominant in the way the last 3 league winners were (100-98-99 points) but they’ve won 18 of their last 20 in the league to run away with it.

The gap would be less, if we purposely dropped 15 more points last season and only won the league by 3.
But it didnt happen so why say it?

If Chelsea had purposely won more games we wouldn't have finished 10th or Leicester 12th. I didnt happen
