Chance of West Ham beating Wolves, and Sunderland beating Tottenham?

Excellent chance of both those results happening.

Spurs players should still be up for the game for Igor Tudor, but they are in such shit form this year that I wouldn’t bet on them these days to even do that.

I'll cross my fingers and my toes then. Man, I can't believe a year ago I was actively willing Spurs to win.

Im not sure Tudor will be there after the international break to be honest. I think this could be too much for him, especially now with the death of his dad.

He looked a mentally shot man before Nottingham Forest, he looked a man that was deflated during the game against Nottingham Forest. I think he will be given the option to exit as Im sure the next 2-3 weeks it probably be best for both parties to mutually agree to go their own ways.

I wonder if Bournemouth can get a draw at Arsenal. They were competitive in the reverse fixture. Since then they've had 7 draws, 4 wins and 0 defeats. 15 draws in total this season.

Tudor's reportedly gone, they just haven't announced it yet out of respect for his father's passing.

Liverpool have really made a mess of the last couple years. Losing Trent and Salah for nothing, seemingly losing Konate as well is terrible business. That and kind of panic buying Isak after getting ekitike is a big shift from how well they were run up until recent.

Am a bit behind the announcement for Salah, but it’s a free transfer is it? Isn’t he contracted beyond that? I take it they’re going to mutually agree to cancel the remaining tenure then.

Mutual termination, educated guess says this must have been a handshake agreement to re sign last year or else why wouldn't they hold out to sell him even for 20 million. Sounds like he has an eye on a move for less money than his current contract

Wow that’s quite surprising, there was some talk a little while ago about a bumper fee to sell to Saudi Arabia for example. But for it now come to a mutual agreement is a hell of a decline in a relatively short period of time.

Great footballer, an all time premier league legend, and one of the best individual seasons I’ve ever seen last year. Phenomenal career. I’ve seen plenty of footballers fall away from their peak after signing that massive contract extension, however the drop off since for Salah is something else.

I can only guess that the only reason he signed an extension was that he was allowed to leave this summer for free, the two year contract means there's no speculation about leaving him all year as well. He did fall off pretty hard the second half of last season to be fair.

The absurd part isn't really the drop off this season. It's that he was a top 5 player in the world dominating as a winger in the PL, aged 32. Completely carried Liverpool to a title. Late season the signs were definitely there but by then Liverpool had effectively wrapped up the title.

Is Salah in the best XI premier league of all time as a RW?
I mean spoiled to see Suarez at his best at Liverpool, and Salah just doing what he did thought was normal, however his stats alone is nuts.
Ronaldo obviously one of the GOAT but did he play long enough in the EPL to be considered in the XI?

At the end of the day Salah is just a bit of a pace merchant and now that he's gotten old he's gotten slow he doesn't have much else to his game.
Pretty much, he was deadly on the counter and under Klopp's rock and roll football, but he wasn't as affective against a low block at times. Did have good predatory instincts that are still there but his finishing has disappeared.

Oh, I was taking the piss out of an opinion I had off a few pre-season games when Liverpool signed him, didn't think anyone would take it seriously..

I mean I've had Liverpool fan friends say the exact same opinion. Maybe they're bitter, but if they're saying it... He wasn't only a pace merchant but a lot of his goals did come from that, hence the decline in output.
