Baffling. It was blatant. Unsure what he’s complaining about and then the strong reaction to a fan after the final whistle is a poor look as well. Eventful evening for him.

I actually thought Saka was holding Azpi's arm in which made it look like he dragged him down.
He was always in trouble when he wasn't looking at the ball though.

It's really a foul on Azpi if anything. Certainly not stonewall by any stretch.

Yeah, it would not have made a difference as we had no right to get a point, but that should have been overturned.

The ball was behind them both. Saka has felt contact and buckled his knees. Hard for VAR to reverse it though.
Azpi with his arms around Saka doesn't aid his cause. It's a pen.
Watch it from when they’re at the top of the box. The moment Saka tries to come in Azpi is facing completely the wrong way, initiated contact and is all over Saka. That footage above doesn’t capture the entire sequence.

That's not where the foul is blown though. There was contact at the start but the foul is blown once Saka hits the ground and he only does that by bringing Azpi down with him.

Agree. No pen for mine but wouldn't have changed the result anyway.
Azpi has chosen to engage in that type of entanglement in that position in the box. From there more often than not the player goes down and a foul is blown.

No problem with that. I agree it was incredibly poor/naive defending.
But the player has still only gone down because he went down himself. That shouldn't be rewarded.
