Inevitable I guess.

Can't understand why Arteta just went with the normal setup. The cumulative effect of Holding replacing Saliba has been noticeable. Holding / Gabriel has not been working and was never going to end well against City.

Every time i think we're rock bottom we just sink a bit lower haha.

Saw the line up and thought * watching that, wise decision.

It's not a pen. Player supporting their body with their arm while falling. The only person lacking knowledge here is Moyes. Moyes would have gone nuts if the opposite was given against his team.
Didn't Hammers get away with a couple of these earlier in the season(one against us for sure)?

Probably thinking of the Soucek example, I could bring up the Cornet example, albeit not a handball, swings and roundabouts I suppose with VAR.

Agree to disagree here. Could have jumped out at the ball with his hands behind his back, they're away from his body which is the key thing for mine.

He won the ball in a tackle. Was falling over as a result of the impact in that tackle. Did not deliberately handle, hit him on the arm from a deflection from the tackle while falling. Just not a pen at all.

What a find Gakpo has been after a difficult start. We have our Firmino successor. Can't wait for next season.

remember when haaland made us worse
He did originally when the team hadn't adapted to him. But pep figured out his tactics and embedded Grealish into the side over Foden.

Oh and just on KDB. Where do you place him in the pantheon of greats to grace the PL. He's up there with any mid I've ever seen.

It was inevitable.

City way too good, and we were pretty poor across the park. Grealish was magnificent, KDB unstoppable, and Haaland was fantastic too. City just do everything so well, and they rarely if ever make mistakes. Their pressing is world class, and their retention is next level.

No shame in coming second to this team.
