Paying 90% of CL revenue on wages was bold.I hope Villa dont have to break up the side. It's exactly what I hate about FFP/PSR.

Nice touch at Anfield, both sides forming a guard of honour for each other. Never thought I'd see Palace get a GOH at Anfield.
Well done to Liverpool, worthy PL champions.
Well done too to Palace, finishing off with 4 points from the 2 games post FA Cup, the first game only 3 days later. Would have been excused for going on holiday after last Saturday, couldn't drop below 12th and with little incentive whilst coping without Guehi and Wharton.
Now for the summer, Palace need reinforcements to cope with the Europa next season, but under pressure to keep Guehi, Eze, Munoz, Mateta, Wharton etc. Playing in the Europa will make it easier keeping them, but expecting Guehi and Eze to leave.
A big summer.

I've heard Bayern have turned their attention to Eze now that Wirtz doesnt seem like happening.Any chance they all stay? Do the club want to cash in or would they try and keep this side together? Feels like a real fork in the road summer for Palace.
If they can keep this group and manager together, and bring in a couple, they’re a real chance to break that top 6.
God it feels good to be a gangster.
It might well be but it won't have anything to do with last night.I think that's that for Ange. Mark Bosnich won't be happy, neither of his teams in Champions league.

Chelsea?I think that's that for Ange. Mark Bosnich won't be happy, neither of his teams in Champions league.
Chelsea?
Kind of irrelevant in terms of what happened afterwards.Maybe they should complain to Martinez for being a moron
Don't think from what I've seen Villa have been better than Newcastle and the other sides that made it. Chelsea is probably debatable, but results speak for themselves. They have finished the season well.
Did you break anything whilst watching that?Wow Villa got absolutely robbed with that call. Referees make mistakes all the time it's just a natural part of the game, it's just unfortunate the timing and meaning of this one and the difference between making Champions League football and the money that comes with it.
Growing up in the 80s Division 1 era was great!! Though obviously footy reigned supreme in primary years of school (most cohorts barracked for essendon or hawthorn) as it was the age when winning mattered.
Similarly, then in the 90s when football really got traction in Australia, i found friends of my vintage supporting man utd. They were massive utd fans (glory glory they sang). A few chelsea and arsenal friends, but most were utd. Before they didnt support any team. Natural to veer towards victorious clubs. It was a barren experience for us LFC fans. "How many premier leagues have you won?" they bellowed. Explanations that the top tier existed before the EPL came to fruition.
Feels good.
Besides Johnny Bananas I've not encountered any Brisbane Chelsea fans.
They all seem to support Liverpool up here.
