Ange ball requires a squad not just a first XI. The intensity he plays at requires the injection of subs in the second half. Apart from Solomon, who was a squad filler on a free, the rest of the bench are either shite or not suited to Ange ball and Ange is stuck with them from previous regimes for the time being. Once he has got the squad he needs he will make 3 changes on the hour and there won't be a drop off.

They will.

Last season they had runs of 8 wins in their first 25 league matches and 1 win of their last 11 and still avoided relegation by 10 points. Chelsea would need to be a lot shitter than that and that is pretty hard to manage lol.

We'll probably spend 300m on an 18 year old winger from the Moldovan league who made a nice run once, 250m on a 19 year old DM from the Estonian league who made one tackle and 450m on a 20 year old CF from San Marino who had a shot on target.
