Their form is really hard to read. They haven't really been very good in attack away from home and they were unimpressive against Wolves, but then somehow only lost 2-3 with 10 men against Pool. Work that out.

Palace's strong undefeated streak which I heard on a podcast said it goes back 17 matches, which is wild if true, VS Liverpools ability to absolutely shithouse a late winner.

This has 2-2 with a late winner written all over it.

Yep, 17 matches unbeaten is true - 6 EPL games at the end of last season, 5 this season, a Cup semi, Cup final, community Shield, EFL Cup this season and 2 Europen games this season. Ironically will equal the club record with a result v Liverpool but I think it will end this week.

Our record at home v Liverpool in the 12 years back in the Prem is poor and I don't think we've beaten them. I'd feel more confident playing them at Anfield, where we've done relatively well.

I remember back between 2000 and 2010 it was a pretty common tactic for players who had accumulated yellows to get a yellow to miss the next match when the next match was conveniently the FA Cup or Carling Cup.

The loss of Eze has certainly hurt us. The connection of Kamada & Pino with Mateta has been particularly poor so far. Hopefully with Sarr back from injury we can look a bit more dangerous.
