EPL Matchday 8 - On Optus Sport

5th minute of injury time when only 4 is added. Tough to take.

Spirited Palace deserved it.

Because Gallagher was lying on the floor for a minute of it.

Dean bottled it by not sending off McArther for volleying Saka, however glad he added the extra time for when Gallagher was down in stoppage time.

Overall probably the right result. Palace very impressive especially after half time. Had the ascendancy and then the goals to show for it whereas Arsenal didn’t in the first. Lots of late chances to equalise and Lacazette was arguably Arsenal’s best player despite only playing 25 odd minutes.

Saka on the left just doesn't seem to work for Arsenal, has to be a choice between Pepe and Saka starting IMO. They looked very subdued in that first half after the early goal, and then just went further into their shells when Saka was withdrawn.

Outsanding save for Ramsdale just before HT denying Gallagher.

Palace have handled their transfer business really well the last couple of years. Eduoard, Olise and Eze are some real exciting players to see join.

Palace definitely had the better second half, feel like Arsenal didn’t deserve that equaliser

Sorry about that, that would have paid well.

Next time put your money on Palace conceding an equaliser in injury time. That's 2 games in a row, good form.
Might have too, seems to be the trend for you guys and a scoreline of 2-2.

Saka on the RW has been great this season. Pepe on the right has been an absolute failure. People keep bringing up the shot, that was parried and scored by a switched on Auba, but he gave the ball away a lot. And at times when he would drop deep to RWB to help, if he got the ball he turned it over on the left rather than making a safe pass on the right.

Pepes best at Arsenal has been on the LW. That last minute cross in that lead to the equaliser? LW, from after he recovered the corner.

Tomiyasu was Arsenals POTM in September and he was working great with ESR and Saka. Last night he kept making runs, Pepe has no right foot so ignored him and cuts in on the left.

Its ok to be that left footed if you are Robben. Not if you are Pepe.

As for not calling the whistle at the end, people seem to forget in the 1st or 2nd minute of injury time Palace had a player very softly go down, no FK was paid but play stopped for a good minute or so.
