You think that’s a crazy stat? There have been 133 penalties awarded in the league since last season. 92 last season and 41 this season. So we are on track for 194 penalties this season.

United broke the record last season when they were awarded 14 penalties. Leicester are on track for 38 penalties (and certainly will top United’s 14) and Chelsea and Liverpool are on track for 19 penalties.
