Not sure that penalty on Saliba was a penalty.
His arm was out directing traffic.
And yes it was close range and yes there's been heaps of Gooners online espousing 'How's he meant to get his hand out of the way'.

All true. Nowhere near as many gooners saying the same on NLD day when one went in your favour.

In reality both were strict interpretations and both penalised.

From memory (could be wrong), but thought the Romero pen was stiff at the time.

This whole GK thing of smashing into players and not being penalised is a joke.

And how does Sanchez clatter Jesus and it's play on? Rubbish.
That was a tough one, it was close proximity but the arm was kinda out and his header was on goal, so the arm was stopping the shot on goal. Probably had to be given IMO.

Again, open your other eye. Tsimikas' first challenge was identical to the one Young got his first yellow for.
No it wasn’t. Tsimikas was just a run of the mill body check after a pass. Both times Young was beaten by his man on the dribble - both times he cut the player down to stop them dribbling further.

If only Tarkowski was correctly sent off and this was given as a penalty:

Can't win em all though can ya.

Not quite the quality of Morten Gamst Pedersen but a spectacular dive and injury feign all the same.

I see we have a lot of Bono's in this thread. Not surprising, Victim FC.

neuer might’ve brought the sweeper keeper back into vogue but I've never seen another keeper with the passing ability of ederson

Agree with that. He's so good that opposition teams often don't use their usual press as he will find a City player in space then they are on the attack.
