Arsenal seeing this game out like a good team should, Liverpool looking a little bereft of ideas despite a better second half.

Can’t see where this equaliser is coming from.

We invited too much pressure. It was coming even though Liverpool never really looked like scoring for most of the half.

This is pretty unfortunate. :(

Agreed, with the defensive personnel available I would have thought holding the ball in possession was a better method of defence.

Half the games this weekend have been decided in added time.

Wonder if that trend continues.

Arsenal still need a striker, Havertz pretty average against a top side once again. Liverpool need a midfield, Arsenal shut it down pretty easy. Don't see either as a serious contender.
There are no contenders, let’s be honest.

The VAR penalty call was harsh. The original decision was no foul. I don't think there was enough to overturn it.

But it could be what seals Ten Hag getting the boot.
Have watched ten times and can not understand how it was given

Enough to overturn it?

It was in no way a foul. Just a bloke diving with the referee not giving it originally then watching a replay which showed nothing to suggest a foul that somehow convinced him to change his decision. Poor from the VAR official to even refer it.

Hopefully a good sign for Wharton considering there is talks he ends up going down the surgery route depending on his next few weeks.

Thought he should have had his surgery over the international break, very important for us.

Most of the talk for our poor start has been losing Olise but that is only one of several reasons, the restricted Wharton so far is another. Been struggling to get past 60 minutes, but looked better today after a week off.

Does the ref ever stick with their original decision once they've been asked to look at the vision? Watching them stroll over to the monitor and then examine replays for minutes is such a waste of everyone's time. We all know what's coming.
Happened only once or twice I think.

I hate United but that looked a very soft penalty. Looked a collision of knees at worst, absolutely no intent there at all.

On our game, we got a point which isn't the worst. Would have been great to see us at full strength. What a sensational pass from Ben White to set up Saka. Sublime pass. Finish wasn't half bad either.

Great header from VVD, nice flick from Diaz too. But, how is VVD not sent off for the kick out on Havertz? The Konate challenge was iffy, hard to sell from the angles shown. Merino header was great and the delivery from Rice was perfect. So good to have big bodies everywhere now.

Great goal for Liverpool on the second, we got ripped apart. Not sure where the foul on Konate was for the third disallowed goal. Bizarre.

De ligt started to swing his leg, tried to pull out and still hit Ings. Soft? Maybe, but wtf was he doing. He's made so many mistakes in his short time, it shows why he was benched for Eric Dier in Germany and sold by Juve. Man United sold a lemon thanks to EtH's Ajax connection.

It's rare. Michael Oliver stuck with his decision one time when he was called to have a look.

But if Michael Oliver as VAR refers a ref to the monitor perhaps the referee hierarchy kicks in.

There was like three fouls in that disallowed goal for Arsenal.
