Very much hyperbole. It was a foul and if it was given on the pitch I doubt many VAR would have overturned it.

The foul wasn't given on the pitch. After several reruns of the video the most you can say is that there was some contact. But it wasn't a clear and obvious error. For VAR to recommend having another look and overturning the decision amounts to re-refereeing the incident, which they have pledged to move away from.

Kiwior outjumps Jones because he seems to want it more. The ball hits what looks to me around the bicep area.

And how is everyone ignoring the hand/arm Konate attempts to hold Havertz back?

Is controlling the ball with a raise bicep not considered hand ball?

I'd hardly call it raised.

Plenty of other issues in this passage of play IMO.

He lifts it to head height when he jumps and it's shoulder height when the ball bounces of it. Looks raised to me and once it hits it that stops(or should) the play imo.

The ref called the foul when the Arsenal player jumped into Szoboszlai's back. Also, sick of hearing about Arsenal's injury crisis. Arsenal had 2 players missing from the starting 11, a CB and midfielder, Liverpool had 2 players missing from their starting 11, a striker and keeper. I think Liverpool's injuries had more of an impact than Arsenal's. Jota is only behind Mo in goals vs Arsenal.

Two of our three best players.

It would be like you missing two of Salah, van Dijk and Alisson (?).

Gabriel also went off too which impacted the game, akin, to losing Konate.

Look I'm just saying injuries affected both teams fairly equally and should not be used as an excuse in this instance. I tend to agree with the commentators that no team did enough to deserve the win.

Jota has 5 goals in 11 games vs Arsenal in the PL. Bettered only by Mo who has been at the club for 3 more seasons. He definitely was a big loss.

Meh, injuries are a part of the game. That's why you have squads. You just have to do your best with what you have.

In recent seasons we've had Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips at CB in Premier League games, also played a game with Fabinho and Henderson as CB's.

Just get on with it.

Shall we dig into your post history about injuries and Liverpool oh one eyed one?

Didn't take long
