Ok we've both had tough fixture lists... but you win. Your lot have done magnificently well to manage 11 points from that run and to be 12th. Nicely set up for West Ham to push on now.

Liverpool (2)
Fulham (17)
Sheffield (20)
Man City (10)
Wolves (9)
Villa (6)
Leicester (1)
Palace (8)

6/8 top half teams, though only 2 of the 'big 6'.

Now are they top half because playing us has helped them get there, or are we sitting 15th because we've had a tricky draw so far?

Only the Palace scoreline is particularly grating

Gomez has picked up an injury while in the England squad.

It was bound to happen. Can't say I'm surprised.

Rhys Williams has been a promising back-up, and should partner Joel Matip if Gomez misses a few.
We're going young down back if Neico Williams covers Trent, but we will probably go with Milner there to control things.

If Matip goes down we'll be calling on Carragher to step in!

There is some good news though, Thiago might return this week. Has been in full training.

Gomez with an England training injury.

Does Liverpool even have a defense atm?
Current fit defenders

LB: Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas
CB: Joel Matip, Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams.
RB: James Milner and Neco Williams.

Yeah apparently a big one too like season ending so the title is now up for grabs. Good luck everyone.

Gomez was the difference between you being in the title race and not?

No, 3 out of 4 CBs being injured is and the 4th available one being made of glass. Hopefully we have a top quality CB lined up to join in January, 9 games to scrape through until then.

Guess I'm focussing on him saying the title is now up for grabs. I think for most sensible people the title was already up for grabs before some Liverpool kid hurt himself.

Liverpool still have a decent midfield and great attack to compensate for the defense I wouldn't be too worried.
