With such a close season its anyone's guess who will stay up and who will drop down.

So who do we think will be relegated?

My guess is

West Ham
Wigan
Birmingham

I reckon Birminghams home form might get them over the line but its to close to call between the bottom half of the table.

Be some nervous fans in the next few months.

Glad we have reached the magical 40 point mark! ;)

I'd say all teams below Sunderland are in a relegation battle this season. Really is a bizarre one. Tough to call though. I'll say West Ham are the most certain. Wigan would be my next bet. For the final spot, I would like to say Liverpool, but I think it will be West Brom

6th- Sunderland
7th- Newcastle
8th- Bolton
9th- Liverpool
10th- Stoke
11th- Everton
12th- Aston Villa
13th- Blackburn
14th- Blackpool
15th- Birmingham
16th- Fulham
17th- Wolves
18th- Wigan
19th- West Brom
20th- West Ham

We were in it, we've won 2 matches in a row, and now we find ourselves 7 points clear and 'not in it' anymore. Who is to say in 5 games time we won't be?

It's about putting a good run of form together and maintaining it. A win here and there means you're never going to fully be out of trouble and as a result I still have Blackpool as a major contender.

Blackpool, Wolves and West Ham/Aston Villa/Wigan

Definitely I'd say Blackpool will fall away. But I think that Holloway is good enough for them to just avoid the cut. Sure hope they do anyway, Holloway is a legend and is fighting very well far above the teams weight.

If Villa get relegated I'll chop my dick off and send it to you in the mail.

Never has a relegation bottom 3 guess been this much of a guess. I doubt anyone would predict the bottom 3 correctly never mind in order

Id like to think we all learnt something over the Christmas period as far as how the relegation battle is going to run

Quite simply, the teams with the worst run of injuries in the next 4-5 months will be the teams relegated to the CCC. We have seen it with West Brom. They lost 4 players in the space of a fortnight and they have gone from top 10 candidates to relegation contenders just like that. There forms been horrible since then.

Even look at Blackpool. There games without Charlie Adam were a different kettle of fish altogether. If he was injured for the rest of the year they would be doomed and thats just 1 player. Even West Hams recent good run of form over the Christmas period came with a settled 11 without a injury every 5 minutes for the first time all year (bar Newcastle enigma). Most would also agree Aston Villa would be nowhere near the relegation zone if there injury problems werent as deep as they are (Ireland, Petrov, NRC, Collins, Cuellar, Young etc.).

Im not even gonna make a guess but I do think West Ham are more likely to go down than all of the other teams in the competition.
