Tough to call I reckon. I'll probably be going Keane to (Matty) Cash if Collins as a loop doesn't perform.
I know you need (pound sterling) cash, but I'm not sure Canvot is worth the risk... 😬

I'm leaving Bruno for another 2 weeks myself, based more on fixtures than price.
He might go ok this week, but unlikely to do too much @ Arsenal.
Bowen and Enzo have great runs of games ahead. Foden has WW next week & Garner and Rice are almost undropable at this point.

Would be silly not to VC Haaland as usual...

Good luck everyone.

Well, I f@cked that up! Wow, Bruno could have scored 50 and Foden got pulled at HT. (Reports of a hand injury, but whatever...)

That trade is done already (figuratively of course). I don't care if Foden has Wolves next, Bruno is the best asset in the game. Full. Stop.

Palmer was lucky again.
By my calculations in his last 26 games he's produced 3 assists and 5 goals, 3 of which have been penalties.
I'd genuinely be chuckling at that if I hadn't have fallen into the Jarrod Bowen trap. Just 1 shot out out 17 and no CC in a 2-1 win. 🤮
(We've all been sleeping on Porro btw. 😳)

4 at the back was the play wasn't it. šŸ˜”

I'll probably keep Keane this week at least and just move Garner on field. Not expecting much, but hopefully Everton can score. šŸ™

68 with 3 to play feels awful, but not seeing too many big scores out there.

There's still one more match this gameweek!
Yep, that's what I meant....

Cringe Reaction GIF

Chelsea have an amazing run coming up. Ive already got Palmer & Enzo but thinking ill trade in a defender too. At this stage it is likely James but i admit he might not start all of the upcoming games. Chalobah is a lot cheaper but doesnt have the same attacking threat. Decisions decisions

Their run for the next 5 is incredibly favourable but then it gets much tougher with about 6 rounds with no easy opponents. That means ill need to consider trading at least one of my 3 out for then, ideally probably two. I still think the damage that can be done in the next 5 rounds makes the trade in worthwhile.

Honestly, I'm not sure you'll gain much.

Your Liverpool boys should go alright this week and next...
Thiaw at home this week, Keane back next week...
...Timber and Thiaw in 25.

Looks pretty solid.
I understand the potential spike from the Chelsea players, but will it provide your team with an extra 10 p/w over the next 5?
Not sure, but good luck either way. šŸ¤ž

Just Foden to Bruno for me.

Got a sneaky suspicion that Haaland won't play. There's been plenty of talk about the amount of minutes that he's played, and just 1 penalty goal in the last 5 weeks certainly points to some fatigue.

I'll play 4 at the back of that's the case and hope Van Hecke can give me something at Fulham.

(It will give me a V/C dilemma tho...
Haaland is the obvious VC, so I don't want to risk Bowen before him.
Saka and Bruno is the last game I can loop, so maybe Enzo VC if Haaland sits out? šŸ¤”

Garner looks a genuine C to me this week in the last game. He's been unlucky and still posting decent scores. I think he's a good chance for another big game.

Traded Bowen to Mainoo for cash. United have a reasonable run after Arsenal and I think he will stay in the team so hopefully makes a bit of cash and scores well.

Question for the group

Really want Bruno but would need to hold Minteh and trade Xhaka this week (about $500,000 short of Minteh to Bruno).

Should I wait a week and hope Bruno has a low game? BE is 16 so he might drop enough.

Ugh.

Minteh on limited minutes again as he's had a "small issue", so I'd definitely prefer to keep Xhaka...

Is there anyone else you can sell besides Bowen?
He's been a bit sh1t, but with Sunderland, Burnley and Bournemouth in the next 5, surely he does some damage?!
I mean, at under 7mil is he worth selling? Dunno.
(I'm very surprised how many up around the top 1% own him. I jumped on thinking he'd be a decent POD šŸ™„)

Can you boost? Should be plenty of decent defenders going cheap atm.

Team before trades with 16 left, 6.5mil itb. Munoz due back this week, seems silly to hold this long then trade. But CP are bad now. He's be the other way to get cash.

Might just have to wait. Don't really want to boost.

Do you need that many good players?

Anderson is essentially Xhaka lite. -1 b/e is annoying timing, but I'd just be replacing one of them with Bruno and leave Minteh on the bench.
(If you're confident starting Manoo that is).

Minteh and Anderson -> 2 x Man U? (Does the maths math?)

Cuhna to Evanilson? I know you like Man U's run, but uncertain minutes for Cuhna...(and I think I could make a pretty good case for Bournemouth's run through to week 30 or so is nearly as good as it gets...but yes, they are short of attacking options, granted).

VVD -> Cucurella? What does that do to the finances?

Don't get too stuck on boosts either. One will probably get you by. Two will see you through comfortably, especially with your super strong bench.

Yeah, I’ve reconsidered and a 5 week play is probably not the smartest move given I don’t have too many trades left. I’m happyish with my team regardless. Hoping to have a few trades to use over the blank and double game rounds. I’ve still got double digit trades but they will go quickly! Thanks for your thoughts.

Incidentally my SC Cup opponent from last round is ranked 1st (weekly) of the 16 teams left. I highly doubt my 103 would’ve beaten many if any of the remaining sides. That said I will watch said opponent with interest haha

Trades are running low (16) and there is still a long way to go so I'm trying to get bench players that will actually play.

That's kinda why I like Anderson and Xhaka they will play every week. No resting or getting subbed early.

Yeah Cunha is the other one I'd like to get rid of soon.

Got Botman last week to make money, might just need to be patient. Might need to boost lol

Thanks for the thoughts, decisions decisions.....

Big move time this week.

Brought in Enzo, Palmer and Wilson (whu) for Foden, Bowen and Ekiteke.

Already have
F. Haaland, Thiago,
M. Bruno, Rice, Szoboslai (with now Enzo & Palmer)
D. Gabriel, Timber and Tarkowski
K Raya.

Playing 3-5-2.

Leaves Szobozslai as my questionable starter. Hoping to upgrade to Guimaraes when he is over his injury.

FMD Xhaka misses after I held him. Bowen goes big after I trade him. Brought in Evanilson and he's going big on my bench.

Reckon I'm just about done with this game haha

It's definitely a mindset shift from the AFL version, in that just because a player is 'cheap', doesn't mean they aren't a perfectly good option to play on field.

The combination of big price fluctuations and fixture swings means that the 'cost' of a player is largely irrelevant.

Still, that's some bad juju right there. šŸ˜”

The worst thing is no team information until very close to game time. It's just not practical living 12 time zones away to deal with it.

The second worst thing is the massively volatile scoring.

It's been an interesting season, but I'm not sure I'll bother next year.

100% with you on the announced lineups.

Im just so used to the "Official" game that is just an excepted part of it for me now.
(I also don't really mind the odd Saturday night on the couch with an alarm set, which is probably an embarrassing thing to admit...)

But yeah, definitely makes it tough and limits enjoyment for the average 'casual', that's for sure.
