Well, I'm not coming last, so that's a positive.

78 for me this week, but not too concerned.

I don't think Diouf is a panic sell just yet.
3 shots on goal, 1 in the box (1 I'd argue was on target) and 3 CC.
WH looked a bit average, but Sunderland had a day out. (Full credit to them!).
xGC 0.68...
I'll definitely give him one more week.

Fullkrug tho... I think he needs to be Haaland. (WH playing the first game this week... ) Most touches in the box for the game, but meh...

Happy to live without Salah.

Adingra was fine. Missed a BC (big swing there alone). Happy with Sunderland's run.
Have Hume (benched ) but may double down with Ballard.

Sels probably wasn't a great starting choice, but I'll consider him and Williams unlucky...
...but the most likely 2 to make way this week if need be.

Scored 115. When I saw that Lewis-Skelly wasn’t starting I decided to switch jim for a Leeds midfielder before lock-out. I thought either Aaronson or James and for some reason I thought Aaronson might be a regular fulcrum for them so I chose him and of course he didn’t start. So looks like I’ll be doing Frimpong and Aaronson Ballard and Reijnders.

No, got lucky with Haaland VC and no massive spuds. Captain scores are massive I think in this format with such volatile scoring.

Conscious its a marathon and not a sprint. Many weeks to go.
I am thinking no trades this week to see how everyone follows up but maybe use a boost the week after to go:

Raya to Trafford (to free up some $)
Truffert to Ballard (obvious move for BE $)
Adringa to Reijinders (scoring potential)


OR perhaps

Watkins to Richarlison
Grealish to Reijinders
Truffert to Ballard

Any thoughts??

First timer in fantasy EPL. Diouf as my loop captain a disaster class thanks to SC saying he was an out. Lost 12pts on vc Salah. Still an ordinary round regardless.

Will look to move Frimpong (has he done a hammy?) and possibly Esteve for Reijinders/Ballard.

I think you're right about holding this week. I play AFL SC and most of the trading mistakes people make in that tend to be in the first few rounds correcting to the wrong players (and then needing to use another trade to fix the error). We have spent weeks making constant changes to our teams and 44 trades seems like a lot, but it's not over 38 rounds.

I'm also guessing that lots of casuals will give up before christmas, so just playing the long game must be the best plan.

I like those trades you suggest, we'll just need to see how players score this week, bound to be a few that rule themselves out.

Ballard does look like a lock though. He's probably the one to go on early if any with a decent fixture. I like a few of Leeds players too but they have the Arse away this week so might not be options this time next week.

Yeah this is where the last minute team sheets makes it hard.

Pep loves to rotate, most City players will carry this risk sadly.

Yeah I'm not sure what the best approach is tbh.

I gather players can spike their scores massively with a couple of good games, so I'm not sure how hard to chase the early cash cows. There will probably be plenty of players like Ballard putting up huge scores through the year.

Might be best of hold trades for those opportunities.

Palmer got 52 in a GW last season. I wouldn't say he's, "set to lose tonne of cash".
He's just as likely to make a tonne of cash.

The golden rule in AFL SC is never trade a premium.

I think the same applies here. Chasing $ in the short term will burn trades. Palmer is one we will probably want long term. So if you have him imo keep him. Save the trades.
