EPL Select: Right Wing

OK I have decided to do the winger polls early so I can put some of the losers in the central midfield poll.

Pires and Ljungberg are in both the right and left winger polls. Like I said in an earlier post if a player wins more than one poll the 2nd place getter with the highest percentage of votes will go through.

Pretty tough decision but on this season's form you cant go past Gerrard. Bias or no bias he has been great this season.

and how can Pires be in this poll? he has hardly played a game?

I would have thought that Gerrard was more a contender for the central midfield role, than on the right.

IT'S NOT A TEAM OF THE YEAR!!!! It's just the best possible XI from the EPL.

Pires won player of the year awards last year so of course he should be nominated.

I was going to put in Simon Davies, I rate him very highly, but realistically he doesn't have a chance of winning the poll.

Danny Murphy LOL. He isn't the best right winger in his team or for his country so how can he be the best in the EPL?

ok please do tell me who is better on the right at Liverpool at the moment. Hollier must be saving this player because Murphy has played on the right for Liverpool all season (yes while he does play a very centralised role, he is still out on the right as Hamann and Gerrard are the two key central midfielders for Liverpool)

Why would you put Gerrard ahead of Davies and Murphy for a right poistion spot. While he can play on the right, he rarely does, playing mostly in the central role.

Yeah I think Gerrard's a better right winger than Murphy. Just because he starts on the right wing doesn't mean he is the best possible right winger at the club.

You've got 5 to choose from, 2 of which play for your team, both of which are in multiple positions in your stupid polls. Gerrard isn't a right-winger and doesn't play there for club or country. The best player so far this year (and you're as good as your next game), Davies, doesn't even get a mention. Why wasn't Emile Heskey in the left wing competition - after all he plays for Liverpool and Sven plays him there for England?

Hey Dr Evil, I've been watching English football for 35 years and know more about it than you by a very long distance.

1. You've missed my point. 2/5 of the best right wingers do not play for Arse.
