U would think it would be the sport played in doggy heaven, what with all the bum sniffing.

Anyway, I have created an NFL tipping comp. Will post a new thread to brag of my cowardly deed.

I lived in Qld for 7 years and always liked Union much better than league but i'm not so sure these days. Obviously watching Australia is good but Union is way too stop start and too many stupid rules which break the play up alot.

Yeah sports which have too many stupid rules suck and I never watch them... oh wait. :p

But seriously, I don't understand it which wouldn't help but when I see the same thing happen twice yet one is called a penalty and the other is not.. makes it hard to watch. Obviously AFL is just like that too though.

Haha yeah I suppose that is exactly what some people must think about Aussie Rules. Most sports have alot of contentious rules but after watching alot of Union I still couldn't pretend I knew everything about it:)

Thought their bubble had burst when usually lowly Wigan gave them a towelling a few weeks back but the Tigers have powered on since then. I think they are sitting in the top 4 at the moment?!

Amazing to beat Arsenal given their imposing record at home.

Liverpool really look they could threaten for the title this year but oh so long to go. With Ronaldo back expect Man United to get on a roll in the next few weeks.

If Hull are still in the top 8 or 10 after 12 rounds it will be an outstanding effort and should be enough to ensure they get another crack next year. Whoever has done their recruiting is a football genius, most people were picking them to finish a convincing last.

I used to live with an English dude who came from Hull and they were his team but he barracked for Ipswich in the Premier League or second div at the time because Hull City were, as he said "rubbish". Amazing how much things can change in a few years, can only imagine how happy he is now at how they are going.
 
By the way, congrats to Curtis Armstrong on winning the A-League comp with RoosterLad coming 2nd. :cool:

Fryingpan currently leads the EPL by 1 point.

Have started an AFL and NRL comp so if anyone wants the comp name/passwords etc just let me know and I'll start another thread or something.
