Nothing average about yesterday's display, that's just people on the wind up
We should've been 4 up by half time. And we hit the post dunno how many times. Wolves were much better in the 2nd half but we had loads of chances to put it away and hit the woodwork a few times
Pleased with Carroll's work, he was fantastic yesterday. The partnership with Suarez works far better when he's the withdrawn one going up the ground taking blokes with him. Looked fine with the ball at his feet as well, some nice passes
The defense seriously gives me grief though. So doesn't Charlie Adam and Henderson. Kuyt has shown twice as much as Henderson has and can't get a start
gee - they don't mind whinging on merseyside, do they?
there's a very good chance suarez won't be at liverpool next season. so I wouldn't get too attached to him.
on the noticeably average displays of liverpool in their last three outings and the fact that Tottenham and Arsenal are arguably better, and will finish ahead. no CL = no Suarez.
and you can't say he rates the manager too highly either.
So apart from having spent all of the summer money on trash, Suarez providing a one man team outlet in attack, the defense being completely incapable of keeping a cleansheet and being completely overrun in the second half by Wolverhampton in the midfield in the second half everythings going just swell?
I think most can see that the top 3 this year + Tottenham have been a class above and as much as Liverpool fans want to complain about luck they are well worthy of there current points tally. If the goal is top 4 (or in some peoples eyes the title) you are currently failing in that regard and getting overrun by Wolves in the midfield at home isnt the way to lessen the gap
Imagine if he saw the second when your team was actually poor.

All the summer money was spent on trash? Enrique is trash? Downing is trash? Coates is trash? Adam is trash? Bellamy is trash? The only player who hasnt really fit in and performed is Henderson. Carroll was bought last year so doesnt count.
I dont think we were overrun by Wolves, they did get about 50/50 with possession but it equated to almost no clear cut chances on goal. Whereas we should have scored 4 goals. I thought the performance was good and we did enough to win the match.
Suarez is also not a one man attack. Bellamy, Kuyt, Carroll, Henderson, Adam have all scored this season. Gerrard is returning and is an obvious goal threat.
Adam has been far from woeful, has scored from midfield already, forced an OG yesterday. Passes the ball well and tries to keep things moving.
I personally dont understand which club in the short term could actually afford to buy him. Rich owners aside I think a few big clubs will pull in the purse strings and certainly wont flash the cash needed for a guy like Suarez. Suarez will stay simply because IMO there will be no takers at that price outside of PSG and Malaga.
What would you price him at?I personally dont understand which club in the short term could actually afford to buy him. yeah I think that's a fair point - which of the say top 5 or 6 clubs in the world who could afford him would actually want him.Probably in the same area as Aguero
Non dummy spit (board cashing in) - 40 mill
Tranfer request followed by sooking - 35 mill
Id say Anzhi would have no need for Suarez. They have a pretty stocked front line especially once Arshavin signs on which is when and not if really. Real Madrid wouldnt suit or have a need for his style. Barca will target defenders in the near future. Suarez wouldnt go to Italy nor would they want him at that price. Id consider Bayern Munich as the most serious overseas offer outside of PSG, Malaga or any other rich mofo's willing to make him a very very rich man
