Very unimpressive from Liverpool.

Daglish is so obviously out of his depth as a manager.

Carroll might be shit and everything else but I'm starting to like him simply because he isn't Henderson. Seriously, somebody tranquilise that useless ****er and put him in a cage somewhere. It's dangerous for someone that shit to be let loose on a football field.

Enrique - what a pass. Been their best attacking player this season almost.

In 2 minds with liverpools win. They looked a million dollars with a gameplan of long passing and counter attacking, but really needed to add some tempo/possession to their game. They gave way too much possession to the Wolves.

best game from carroll...near perfect game if he headed in that goal attempt.

Not too happy with the Lucas/henderson midfield compo...cant wait for a fully fit Gerrard to return

Surez...is truely the new liverpool God!

there's a very good chance suarez won't be at liverpool next season. so I wouldn't get too attached to him.
on the noticeably average displays of liverpool in their last three outings and the fact that Tottenham and Arsenal are arguably better, and will finish ahead. no CL = no Suarez.

and you can't say he rates the manager too highly either.

Nothing average about yesterday's display, that's just people on the wind up

We should've been 4 up by half time. And we hit the post dunno how many times. Wolves were much better in the 2nd half but we had loads of chances to put it away and hit the woodwork a few times

Pleased with Carroll's work, he was fantastic yesterday. The partnership with Suarez works far better when he's the withdrawn one going up the ground taking blokes with him. Looked fine with the ball at his feet as well, some nice passes

The defense seriously gives me grief though. So doesn't Charlie Adam and Henderson. Kuyt has shown twice as much as Henderson has and can't get a start

saw the first half and you were lucky to be two up. much less four.
lots of corners probably doesn't count.

and surprising that no liverpool fans have noted the clear push on the first goal. did kenny?

didn't see the second half - but the scoreline doesn't reflect a convincing display.

in the first half - carroll was pretty good - for a 7 million pound striker. my favourite moment was when suarez played a beautiful reverse through to him while carroll was asleep, presumably thinking about his booze up later on and watching carroll instead of making the obvious run. that isn't good forward play.

bring back rafa. a manager with a sharp tactical mind - not scottish, english loving w***ers.

So apart from having spent all of the summer money on trash, Suarez providing a one man team outlet in attack, the defense being completely incapable of keeping a cleansheet and being completely overrun in the second half by Wolverhampton in the midfield in the second half everythings going just swell?

I think most can see that the top 3 this year + Tottenham have been a class above and as much as Liverpool fans want to complain about luck they are well worthy of there current points tally. If the goal is top 4 (or in some peoples eyes the title) you are currently failing in that regard and getting overrun by Wolves in the midfield at home isnt the way to lessen the gap

Stop reading at that point, poor effort

Imagine if he saw the second when your team was actually poor . I think Liverpool fans on this board tend to be too result driven in there line of thinking. Carragher could give away 8 penalties and take a dump on Howard Webbs chest yet itd be irrelevant as long as you won 9-8, whereas in reality confidence, playing style and team performances important in regards to future ability to win the next contest.

I think once again you struggled with a physical team. I actually believe Everton is a easier game for you then last nights was such is your struggle with the long ball atm. Everton dont have that Kevin Doyle uptop to trouble you like alot of other teams in the league do.

alright then - what did the Wolves keeper save in the first half? how much did you really work him?
examples please. the suggestion Liverpool should've been 4-0 up at half time is the kind of absurd shit usually reserved for Jod.

your first goal was a foul, and own goal.

so one legitimate goal?

it wasn't the ridiculously dominant display you're suggesting. it was a pretty good first half effort and the scoreline was about accurate, if anything flattering by a goal.

I think it's the absolute seperation from reality so readily practised by Liverpool fans that makes neutrals enjoy their inevitable failure.

Bring back Rafa thanks.

I've watched the replay a dozen times now and I'm still trying to find this "stamp" that Moyes reckons Kompany tried to "do" Cahill with.

I might have to watch it again, so far all I can see is an Everton player going into a dangerous two footed tackle from behind and Kompany jumping out the way so his foot doesn't get removed from his leg.

No doubt Dalglish is overrated by Liverpool fans. Spent way too much on Carroll and Henderson. Not convinced on Adam either to be honest. Pretty average. Midfield is average, lack a decent 2nd striker, backline is leaky with a couple of liabilities. Gerrard and Suarez will have to carry the team, will finish 5th at best IMO.

Regarding this Silva "dive", was it the Rodwell one or the Neville one?

Just seen the Neville one, looked like he clearly clipped his ankle off the ball. Replay didn't show the Rodwell one.

I saw it from two angles. One shows it's quite a reckless challenge from Cahill, but the other one shows Kompany seems to react to it - didn't look happy and had his eyes on Cahill from what I could see. Not too sure but he may have taken revenge by kicking/dragging his foot.

I heard De Ha Ha had given a world class performance yesterday.

Watched the replay, one good save, one you would expect any keeper to make, one that slipped through his gloves that he would have been slaughtered if it went the other side of his post and an equalising header about a yard from the goal line that the keeper was hiding on.

World class performance, ha ha.
