Mackenzie: 32 over 22 = an average of 1.454 goals conceded per match
Vs Rance: 23 over 16 = an average of 1.437 goals conceded per match
Even going with what you guys claim Mackenzie conceded Rance still wins, albeit by a very small margin. So let's take away goals conceded away all together and look at the other stats.
Rance still wins.

Did Hooker, Talia and Rance all have better years? Yes.

Honestly they should be thanking us, another goal or two to our side at the right time and they'd have plonked back into 9th for the umpteenth time.

Yep agree. If my team won 9 straight, basically to earn the right to watch them in a final get pumped by 10 goals, and this is considered one of the most successful years in past thirty, I would on every board defending my AA selections as well.

Let the children have their moment of fun, and then the adults can get down to the business if winning premierships next year.
