Just wanted to pay my respects to Erin Phillips, without question the best AFLW player prior to her ACL injury in 2019 and still a damn good player in the four years after that. Absolute superstar.

Grateful she was able to get in a couple of years with her beloved Ports

Not to mention being the daughter of a club Legend too.

Will be missed more than most currently at the club.

Not a huge surprise. Time has caught up with a talented individual.

The China escapade was necessary and ended up being reasonably worthwhile, however the opportunity cost of it was that Erin didn't get to achieve her biggest AFLW accolades in a PAFC guernsey.

She's an out and out champion so I do hope she maintains some link to the club, coaching, fitness, ambassador, etc
I think she would be able to take on any role that gets given to her.
