The only concern I have with Sav was his god awful kicking for goal. Sure he nailed 1 of them which was great but his action and momentum when kicking the ball was horrendous. I REALLY hope it was just nerves and he lost his form due to that and not how he genuinely kicks normally.

Reminds me of Hawkins when he had that terrible run of constantly missing and also a touch of Domsy when he was a forward.

I said last year that Sav is a better prospect than Buzza and I'll stand by that.

Both of these guys are good athletes but Esava is much more fluid in his movement IMO.

Buzza is kind of proppy despite being a good athlete whereas Sav is the opposite in his ability to seamlessly switch between aerially competing and competing below his knees at ground level.

If that even makes sense.

Both are projects but Sav is further along despite being 3 years younger, I can understand us playing Crameri over Sav but not Buzza.

Sav was drafted being 193cm and 97 kg but is now 197 and 102.

Crazy measurements for such an athletic freak.

We could have something special here.

Yes. I'm glad he is facing some heavy scrutiny from the Vic footy media. I did not appreciate the sob story his camp put us through when it was clear he was chasing the dollars. It's bad enough having to lose young players you wasted a first rounder on without them trying to smear the club on the way out.

Anyhow this Ratagolea looks like he will be a good player for you guys. Kinda came out of nowhere. Wish him the best.

I thought he was super, would be a sneaky chance for a rising star nod IMO.. A game like that against a backing with McGovern and Barrass and playing in the ruck against NicNat and Lycett.. He was impressive

Still needs to tidy up his kicking a bit and he double grabs his marks a bit but from where he's come from I have no doubt those will both improve over time.

The bloke also has freakishly good athletic abilities. He is an incredible athlete and Naitanui/buddy like with his movements.
