Rubbish

If that was the case how many elite forwards left the club due to a lack of opportunity due to Hawkins?
Err, Not saying he kept anyone else out...o_O
Didn't exactly set the world on fire in his early career .I think that was my point.
I can't see either of sav or Buzza getting a good run as long as he is around. Niether of them, in their current incarnations, strikes me as useful in any other position.

There isn't. But you'd still have Buzza ahead of him at this point.

ESAVVVVVAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Shown amazing talent and moments from today to half time.

Some great grabs and forward leads.

Over the moon with this kids ability and potential

Very good future forward.

Miles ahead of buzza on ceiling and potential.

There is no reason buzza should play a game ahead of this bloke

Has also done admirably against Gawn in the ruck and also looks decent at ground level

8 touches and a goal. Around the same output as a bad buzza game. Its a start though and he presented well enough

His ability at ground level is impressive. Has a high ceiling too. Was a very late starter to footy but he looks like he knows what he should be doing. Keep persisting with him. He will be up and down as all tall 19 year olds will be though but he has shown something for sure.

The best thing about him, even with his long path ahead of him, is that he now has to be taken seriously as a target down forward or where ever he plays.

He jumps at the ball, takes good marks and can kick goals. And he can move. Leave him alone at your peril and I reckon with Menzel getting going up forward the #26 is licking his chops.

Go Catters

Impressive athleticism. Green shoots but 8 possessions probably isn't what you want from a KPF. Did enough to hold his spot for another week I reckon but not sure he'll hold it for long.

Definitely. Needs more fitness clearly, but looks a far better natural mover.

Very impressive first half, beat Lever while forward (could have kicked 3 in the first quarter) and battled well in the ruck but he tired in the second half in particularly the last quarter, you could see he couldn't run.
I like his ground work, he's very much a 1 grab player (in the air and on the ground) and looks very athletic.
A start, will be interesting to see how he goes next week in whatever level he plays.

Very raw, can easily fade due to his fitness and game awareness still a bit off.

His involvement in the game definitely seems to have a big impact and his oozing with talent and class, great overhead and at ground level also.

If they keep persisting, could see big improvement in the second half of the year.

Exciting stuff

Endurance is the problem with him especially since he'll have to play some second ruck as well. For that reason I think he will go out for Stanley or Crameri in a couple of weeks but I saw enough today to indicate that none of Stanley Black Crameri and maybe Buzza will be on a list in 4 years time but this guy hopefully will be. Good game.

Endurance dropped away terribly at the end of the game.

That moment in the last quarter where he was jogging for the chase was very noticeable and sub AFL standard fitness.

His raw talent and skills show he has the tools and foundations to develop a good career at AFL level. The coaches obviously rate him very highly since they could have gone with Stanley as well, since Stanley played today at VFL.

Think he could surprise a lot of people if they persist with him for a few games, more so the second half of the year.

Would not shock me to see a 3-4 goal game or two at some point.

And thats what we need ... and he needs to balance up his weakness.
