The Dons sit with 2 wins and 8 losses after the first 10 rounds of the 2016 AFL Season. They surprised to defeat last years grand finalists West Coast at home and then backed it up with a win over the Saints.

The surprise packet of the season so far has been ruckman Sam Michael. Michael has played all 10 games and has averaged 24.2 touches and 13 hitouts a game. Captain Brendon Goddard has the most disposals with 257, while young gun Joe Daniher has kicked 38 goals.

Hawthorn sit top of the table, being undefeated after 10 rounds, while Melbourne sit 2nd and West Coast 3rd.
