Brent Stanton and Adam McPhee. Two often maligned players, but both were very good in their prime.

And with these 2 names, we've hit 100 players selected.

Dean Rioli

jmoo wan

Sorry Lads on an extended bucks.

Remember this guy? He left us to * back home to South Australia years before it was cool

Greg Anderson

BrunoV - unless you've been draft tampering again

Hmm, it's getting really tough now.

I think it's gotta be Dean Solomon.

Absolute hard nut but a quality defender. Could really launch at the ball and was good by foot.

I'm looking at the other teams and I'm not covered when it comes to brawling. Solomon probably puts me ahead of that curve.

Tony Buhagiar

Rover with incredible goal sense. Won best 1st year player and leading goal kicker in his debut season, was our leading Brownlow vote getter in 83, regular state representative before, during and after his time at Essendon and he was in the bests in 5 of the 7 finals he played with us so proven performer on the big stage.

After an injury interrupted 1984 he was only named as emergency in the grand final side after which he left the club to play for Footscray for a year before heading home to the west.

My line-up so far:

FB: M. Johnson, D. McKenzie, ?
HB: G. Foulds, R. Andrews, ?
C: ?, B. Davis, P. Ogden.
HF: D. Reynolds, B. Caracella,
F: ?, K. Forbes, ?
R: Hille, Z. Merrett, ?

Please note: I'll shift the players around where needed.

My next post will be my selections.

I'm thinking Forbes will need a right hand man so, with that in mind, and with Shermy always telling me it's my go, my next pick is used on Ted Freyer.

124 games.
372 goals.

You'd take that any time.

My next pick is for a defender who doesn't need to be savoured.

Just play on a forward and shut him down.

Darryl Gerlach.

Here I was thinking 5 time leading goal kicker Ted Freyer would last a bit longer. He wasn't even going to be my next pick!

Man, sometimes my stupidity astounds even myself.

Ian "Bluey" Shelton

Switching Fitzmaurice to his Team of the Century position of back pocket, and putting Bluey at CHB. Missed the 64 season due to a serious eye injury sustained on the farm but returned in 65 and played on with vision in only one eye in an injury interupted final season, but a final season as vice captain in a premiership side.

Strong, courageous, dual sided, tough as old boot laces and would run through a brick wall to clear the ball from defence, Bluey is a welcome addition.

Ha ha...I was about to pick him based on the tribute I Remember Bluey gave him when he passed away...sounded like a wonderful player.

Shane Heard
168 games
Played on Dippa on the wing in the ‘84 flag
Would have played in ‘85 but gave up his spot because he was worried he couldn’t make it through the match.
Known for tagging some of the best players of the era.
Bit top heavy with ‘84 guys but had to have him since I had his number on my jumper when I was a kid.
