Stole this from the Carlton Board, they're good for something.

Who'd be interested? Get 16 posters to pick anyone from a 2006 AFL club list (include rookies maybe), fill 22 or 38 spots and can compare teams at the end, may help fill in the summer.

First in best dressed, will then pull the names out of a hat

Player 1 - pick: 1,32,33,64,65,96
Player 2 - pick: 2,31,34,63,66,95
Player 16 - pick: 16,17,48,49,80,81
Player 15 - pick: 15,18,47,50,79,82

etc, etc

Player 1 gets teams 1, 9.
Player 2 gets teams 2, 10

I think it should be 10 teams and the order reverses every round... Team 1 gets pick 1 and pick 19 then pick 20.. team 10 gets pick 10 and then pick 11...

good idea this makes it fairer! why not make it 3-4 from each club, still a challenge but then not extremely hard

I think this is fairest system but am happy to go with the flow on what everyone wants. with team restrictions should be capped whether 2 or 3 from any club, will make people think a little before jumping in to get balance in their team.

I would suggest that we wait a little while as some people may be keen and not at computer at present, also can give people time to work out what they want and Da Sawx time to get all his rules in place and tell everyone starting time etc, etc
