Hard decision between Scarlett and Rutten i had to make. But in the end wasn't much between the two of them. Very close to which is the better in my view. Would class them two and Glass pretty equal. Probably the best three full-backs at the moment in my opionion.
Plus Scarlett was the first Geelong player to be selected, isn't it funny when people (not saying its people on here) say "the Cats have one of the best teams on paper".... and should be doing better (start of this year especially) but in this draft the most highly rated one goes at 35. Shows how much they are really rated. Thoughts?

Not surprised about the Geelong players. They will catch up in the next 50 or so picks I would feel.

Power was not in my top 5 till it got till my shot, then i took him. I arte kosi, but by the teams going on how they perform next year, and me believing he will have 1 more injury interupted year, i decided to pass.
Still no one from Collingwood or Kangaroos chosen, maybe that shows where they are both at?
Needed to start getting some key position players to make a balanced team, only so many good players who can hold down CHF, FF or even CHB from memory, He (Neitz) was my first pick with Power my back up if he had been taken. Every side needs a bloke who can kick 60+ in a forward line. Take out Fevola, Hall and Lloyd and not many left in the comp.

But I would have expected he go somewhere between 40-60.
But that's the magic of this game, everyone sees and values different things in a different way.

Chris Johnson is any interesting pick, he's only young, but could only crack 9 games for Melbourne this year.

I wanted a premium ruckman and well you can't go too wrong with the current All Australian Ruckman whom I rate very highly anyway.
I also wanted a match winner, Sir James thankyou very much! Not only a matchwinner but I am officially making Hird Captain.
Also note I chose Hird at 49 for the symbolism . He started his career in Jumper Number 49.

I reckon every single person has thought about James Hird for every single pick but no-one wanted to jump to early for fear of looking biased.
