Pick 22 GEELONG: James Worpel Geelong Falcons

Reasoning behind this is that there were no real interesting sliders for one and secondly Geelong love one of their own. So when a player like Worpel is available you take him. I feel as though he is underrated around the traps as personally he will be a very good inside mid and one that can carry a team. Knows where to hunt and find the ball and although his kicking is seen as a weakness that hasn't stopped players of the inside mid Ilk in the past from becoming champions.
Will compliment there midfield nicely and when entering his prime the midfield will be all his.

Pick 24 GEELONG select Gryan Miers Geelong Falcons.

It's funny that the two picks are from the Falcons but they arguably are the two players that Geelong need most.
Miers is a big pressure forward who is smart around goals and has match winning qualities in big games as seen in the grand final. With Motlop leaving and Menzel falling out of favour it's fair to say you could see Miers getting games from as soon as round 1 next year. Only light but is smart and isn't afraid to tackle and pressure. Will be a good get for anyone on draft day.

This feels a bit weird because.
A. It's not gonna happen and
B. Doesn't hugely fill a list need.
Liked Lachie Fogarty here but i feel like with picking up Kennedy, LDU and Higgins Cartlon probably don't need another small mid.
Carlton have found it hard to score in recent years and with the ability of Curnow to play high and McKay slow to come on they could do with another talented KPF.
Brisbane have been pissing around with his position in the NEAFL all year but he still plays his best as a key forward and I reckon that's where he'll be trained.
Kicked 4 in a NEAFL final playing there.
