At that stage Ricky gets pick three and boncer34 can take his pick at his earliest possible convenience.

As far as judging rules go, with the teams do we assume that all players are 100% fit?

Is it like last year where if someone misses a pick the next person has 1 hour to take his pick, if not the next person 1 hour etc?

If everyone is gonna get 6 hours this comp won't be finished till 2013

I think 6 hours is good to start off with for everyone to get used to it. After the first round I suggest speeding it up a little bit, I agree with your suggestion of 1 hour if someone misses a pick.

Ricky now has until 21:23 to take his pick.

So you're suggesting that once someone misses their deadline thet each person gets an hour to take that pick? Once that pick is taken it reverts back to the first person to miss the deadline with 6 hours again and the person who took the pick doesn't get to double dip but resumes their normal position?

Correct. Otherwise it takes way too long and people lose interest quickly.

Stricter time limits work best, though it's probably fair to wait a week or two at least, for that.
